| With the successive implementation of college physical education curriculum reform policies,it provides support for the diversification of college physical education courses. At present, tennis courses in colleges and universities are constantly reforming and innovating, aiming to improve teaching effects and students’ interest in learning. However, due to the high entry threshold of tennis technology and the high requirements for classroom organization, the current teaching mode of general tennis courses in colleges and universities can no longer fully meet the needs of students. Therefore, physical education teachers need to further explore and study a more effective teaching mode, and use it as a supplement to conventional teaching to improve the teaching effect of tennis courses and make tennis courses more in line with actual needs. This study aims to practice the concept of college physical education curriculum reform, apply programmatic small-group teaching mode to teaching practice for experimental research, and provide valuable enlightenment and reference for the teaching and reform of college tennis courses.Based on the method of literature, interview, questionnaire, teaching experiment and mathematical statistics, taking two general tennis classes of Guangzhou Sport University as the experimental objects, the conventional teaching mode and the procedural small group teaching mode were used to carry out teaching experiments..Based on exploring whether programmatic small-group teaching mode is more conducive to the mastery of tennis skills of general tennis course students, the four aspects of tennis skills, physical fitness, tennis cognition level and course evaluation of the two groups of students are studied. After 32 hours of teaching experiments, the results show that, after comparative analysis between groups,in terms of tennis technical indicators, the experimental group showed significant differences in the three technical tests of forehand, backhand and overhand serve. In terms of physical fitness indicators, the test scores of the experimental group were better than those of the control group. At the level of tennis cognition, there are significant differences in students’ tennis learning interest and self-awareness.In terms of course evaluation indicators, the proportion of students in the experimental group who agree is higher than that in the control group. The conclusion is that the students in the experimental group have a higher mastery of tennis skills under the procedural small group teaching mode. The procedural small group teaching mode can develop students’ physical fitness more effectively and it can improve students’ cognitive level more effectively. The procedural small group teaching model is more recognized than the regular tennis teaching model. This study suggests that the programmatic small-group teaching mode be used in college physical education courses to help students master special skills effectively. In addition,in the teaching design of the programmatic small-group teaching mode,it is necessary to fully consider the characteristics of the sports events taught. |
