Research On The Construction Of The Evaluation Index System Of Competence Of Tennis Referees At Different Levels In My Countr

To ensure a high level of tournament quality and meet the requirements of high standards is a necessary condition for the future development of tennis in our country.On this basis,tennis umpires shoulder a very important responsibility as coordinator of match order and maintainer of fairness.In order to comply with the new requirements of the development of The Times,Chinese tennis referees must set higher standards for themselves,otherwise it will become an obstacle to the development of events and players.Both part-time referees and professional referees must strive to improve their own competency level and adapt to the environment of tennis in the new era.Therefore,the establishment of the competency evaluation index system of different levels of Chinese tennis referees is of great practical and theoretical significance to the training,selection and future development of Chinese tennis referees.This study takes Chinese tennis referees of different levels as the research object,on the basis of extensive literature review,using Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,combined with the work content and professional characteristics of Chinese tennis referees,constructs the competency evaluation index system of Chinese tennis referees of different levels,and provides reference for scientific evaluation and training of Chinese tennis referees of different levels.Specific conclusions are as follows:(1)The competency evaluation index system of Chinese tennis referees at different levels consists of four first-level indexes including professional ability,physical and mental quality,code of conduct and behavioral motivation,and 40second-level indexes including "referee knowledge reserve","pre-match preparation" and "accuracy degree".(2)From the perspective of the competency evaluation index system of tennis referees of different levels,the weight coefficient of the evaluation index system of tennis referees of different levels has different emphasis.However,from the analysis results,it can be seen that the three competency characteristics of all tennis referees are rich theoretical knowledge reserve,fair and just attitude of ruling and taking interest as motivation.The remaining differences are reflected in that when different levels of tennis referees participate in different event environments,the weight coefficients of various competency evaluation indicators will change with the professionalism of the event.Tennis referees of different levels should improve their own shortcomings according to their own professional characteristics.Specific suggestions are as follows:Based on the analysis of the professional characteristics of different levels of Chinese tennis referees and the relevant requirements of competency selection conditions,this study constructed the competency evaluation index system of different levels of Chinese tennis referees in line with the professional environment.This system considers the dynamic characteristics of the tennis referee profession to some extent.When selecting the evaluation indexes,the competency evaluation indexes with strong time-effectiveness should be selected as the contents of the system.Users can scientifically evaluate the competency level of the target object according to the different weight coefficients in the competency evaluation index system of different levels of tennis referees.The content of this study can also be used as a reference tool for selecting match referees,scientifically selecting tennis referees of appropriate levels according to the needs of the event environment,which on the one hand contributes to the improvement of the overall quality of the match,and on the other hand helps the chief referee to make targeted selection and arrangement according to the two players in each match.Tennis referees of different levels can also selectively improve their judging ability by referring to the weight coefficient of each index in the competency evaluation index system according to their own characteristics.
