As an important part of China’s national economic activities,the sports industry plays an increasingly obvious role in promoting the growth of social and economic benefits,laying the foundation for the healthy and sustainable development of China’s economy.The "14th Five-Year Plan" sports development plan pointed out that although China’s sports industry is in a state of rapid development,there are still shortcomings such as small scale and insufficient talents.The lack of talents in the sports industry is an important factor affecting the high-quality development of the sports industry.This paper uses the talent structure deviation of economic indicators and the GM(1,1)gray prediction model to conduct an in-depth analysis of the talent-related data of the sports industry since the "13th Five-Year Plan" period,which is of great significance for the sustainable and high-quality development of the sports industry.According to the research needs of talent structure deviation and talent demand forecasting in the sports industry,this paper first analyzes the supply and demand status of the talent structure of the sports industry by using the literature research method,induction method,causal analysis method and comparative analysis method,and secondly,based on the structural deviation theory and gray prediction theory,analyzes and studies the sports industry as a whole,the sports industry in various regions and the various formats within the sports industry.The results of the deviation of the talent structure of the sports industry show that the shortage of employees in the sports industry is more obvious,and the imbalance of the talent structure of the sports industry in the central and western regions is more obvious than that in the east and northeast regions.From the perspective of various formats within the sports industry,the imbalance of the talent structure of the sports education and training industry is the most prominent,the imbalance of the talent structure of the sports venue and facility management industry and the sports management activity industry is more obvious,the talent structure of the sales,rental and trade agency industry of sporting goods and related products is relatively coordinated,and the talent structure of other sports industry formats is relatively stable.The results of the gray prediction analysis of sports industry talents show that the demand for talents in the sports industry is growing rapidly,and the number of talent demand in the sports industry will exceed 10 million in 2024,and the demand for sports industry talents in the eastern region is more urgent than that in the central and western regions and the northeast.From the perspective of the three major industries within the sports industry,the sports service industry has the largest demand for talents,with a demand of 6.8 million talents in 2025,sporting goods and related manufacturingKarma is second.According to the deviation of the talent structure of the sports industry and the gray prediction results,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions: first,strengthen the top-level design of talent training in the sports industry;The second is to establish a talent standard system for the sports industry;The third is to accelerate the marketization of talent allocation in the sports industry;Fourth,optimize the training system of sports talents;Fifth,accelerate the transformation of talent achievements in the sports industry;Sixth,accelerate the establishment of a regional interaction mechanism for talents in the sports industry.
