| Chinese textbooks are an important support for Chinese teaching,and the selection of texts in textbooks has an important impact on Chinese teaching.The departmental edition of the senior high school Chinese textbook was launched in some regions in September 2019.Compared with the People’s Education Edition,the departmental edition of the senior high school Chinese textbook presents new features in terms of the selected content and layout.Exploring the selection and compilation of classical Chinese in senior high school Chinese textbooks is of great significance for clarifying the new changes in classical Chinese in departmental textbooks and improving the teaching of classical Chinese in senior high schools.This article is divided into four parts.The first chapter briefly reviews the history of the development of classical Chinese textbooks for senior high schools,sorts out the general situation of the selection and compilation of classical Chinese textbooks for senior high schools during the Republic of China and after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,and on this basis,deeply analyzes the background of the selection and compilation of the departmental edition of classical Chinese textbooks for senior high schools.The second chapter compares and analyzes the guiding ideology,text selection system,and the layout characteristics of the reading aid system of the two editions of textbooks,including the Department’s Edition and the People’s Education Edition.It compares and analyzes the selected texts of the two editions of textbooks from three aspects: the dynasties,themes,and genres of the selected texts.It also analyzes the layout characteristics of the reading aid system of the two editions of textbooks from four perspectives: unit introduction,annotations,illustrations,and exercises.The third chapter conducts a questionnaire survey on the current situation of classical Chinese teaching in senior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education.It is found that there are problems in classical Chinese teaching,such as insufficient understanding of the curriculum goal positioning by teachers,the need to improve their own professional qualities,the urgent need to change traditional teaching methods,and the lack of supplementary extracurricular teaching.The fourth chapter proposes effective teaching strategies based on the characteristics and current teaching situation of the selected writings in classical Chinese in senior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education.Firstly,teachers should base themselves on the goals of the senior high school Chinese curriculum and enhance students’ core Chinese literacy from four aspects: language construction and application,thinking development and improvement,aesthetic appreciation and creation,cultural inheritance and understanding;Secondly,teachers should keep pace with the times,read classic books,deeply study teaching materials,reflect on them in a timely manner,and continuously improve their professional literacy and teaching ability;Thirdly,teachers should integrate unit teaching objectives in multiple dimensions,create teaching contexts,drive classroom teaching with tasks,and achieve changes in the teaching methods of new textbooks;Fourth,in extracurricular teaching,teachers should make good use of information technology,strengthen extracurricular reading guidance,and carry out more Chinese learning activities to maximize the quality of classical Chinese teaching. |
