With the rapid development of social informatization and the arrival of the new era of characteristic socialism,higher requirements have been put forward for the comprehensive quality of all the people and the quality and specification of talent training,and education is the key to improve the national quality and talent training.HPS education is a new educational paradigm that combines the initials of science history,philosophy of science,and sociology of science.Its purpose is to help the public better understand the nature of science and improve the public’s scientific literacy.It is a hot topic of science education research at present.HPS education communicates "two cultures" and is a bridge between natural sciences and humanities;high school physics teaching into HPS education helps to cultivate students’ scientific literacy and humanistic spirit.From different perspectives and dimensions,it expands the breadth and depth of physics teaching content,helps students understand the essence of science,and forms the core quality of physics discipline.After reviewing the historical context of HPS education development and the latest research progress,the author found that domestic research on HPS education paid less attention to the history of ancient Chinese physics.The author attempts to integrate the history of ancient Chinese physics into HPS education under the concept of HPS education,and carries out practical research in high school physics classroom teaching.With a view to improving students’ understanding of the nature of science to a certain extent,cultivating their patriotism,and implementing the teaching philosophy of ideological and political courses.At the same time,enrich the connotation and extension of HPS education,and diversify the educational functions of HPS education.This study mainly includes the following parts.The first part is the introduction,combined with the new curriculum standard of high school physics and the teaching concept of ideological and political courses,elaborated the background of the topic selection,the research status of HPS education,literature review,indicating the significance,content and method of the research.The second part is the introduction definition and theoretical basis,which discusses the related concepts and theoretical basis of HPS education.The third part is the questionnaire survey analysis and discussion.Through the questionnaire survey,the author carried out a questionnaire survey for students and teachers to understand the integration of HPS education and the history of ancient Chinese physics in high school physics classroom teaching,and found that the integration of the two in classroom teaching is not enough.This also reflects the necessity of integrating HPS education and the history of ancient Chinese physics into the high school physics classroom teaching.The fourth part is the textbook analysis.Taking the current latest people’s Education edition(2019 edition)six ordinary high school physics textbooks as the research object,the distribution and presentation mode of HPS in China in the textbooks are statistically classified,and the purpose is to understand the application and distribution characteristics of HPS in China in high school physics textbooks,so as to guide the teaching development.The fifth part is the teaching practice research.The teaching mode,select the appropriate teaching content,teaching case design and teaching practice,quantitative analysis of the practice effect,the results show that the history of ancient Chinese physics HPS education not only in cultivating students scientific essence concept has certain effect,but also help to improve students ’cultural self-confidence and national pride,to cultivate students’ patriotic view,also to a certain extent,to carry out the course ideological teaching idea.It is helpful to the formation and development of students’ physical core literacy.The sixth part is the deficiency and the outlook.We draw the research conclusions,summarize and reflect on the deficiencies in the process of this study,and put forward his own suggestions and prospects for the development of HPS education.
