Under the background of new curriculum reform, the combination of physics history and physics teaching in senior high school may play an important role. It may further develop the students'scientific accomplishments, help the students to understand the research technique in learning physics, and experience the inquiry into science at the same time. After analyzing the current situation in teaching physics history at home and abroad, the author discovers that people have done little research into the teaching of scientific methods, which is, therefore, the focus of the thesis below.The thesis covers the theoretical basis and the necessity of the combination of physics history and physics teaching in senior high school under the background of new curriculum reform. As to the necessity, it is based on two aspects--- the functions and demands of the combination of physics history and teaching. The strong point of physics history lies in the education of scientific methods and thoughts. And here the scientific methods are mainly discussed, which are carried out through daily teaching practice and research.The author considers it an effective means to strengthen the education of scientific methods with the introduction of physics history, and it's also a long-term project. If a certain problem is being researched into, various scientific methods may be used, thus the combination and interpenetration of different methods should be paid attention to.
