With the promulgation of China’s mental health law,the rehabilitation of mental disorder groups and their return to society have attracted extensive attention from all walks of life.How to effectively help people with mental disorders achieve employment has also become a concern and discussion issue for mental health social workers.This study takes Changsha X Club as the research object,based on the summary and analysis of the vocational rehabilitation services provided by X club for the mentally handicapped groups,to explore the effective practical path of social work intervention in the vocational rehabilitation of the mentally handicapped.The survey found that the vocational rehabilitation service under the guidance of the club mode has the following deficiencies in practice: first,the mentally handicapped lack of participation in the club working day,and the overall effect of vocational rehabilitation is not significant;Second,people with mental disorders have a weak sense of "ownership" of the club and do not form a sense of responsibility for the club and its environment;Third,people with mental disorders generally have a low sense of hope and a weak willingness to return to the community.Therefore,under the guidance of rehabilitation theory,this paper divides the vocational rehabilitation service for the mentally handicapped under the mode of social work intervention in the club into three stages: the stage of connecting the reality of the mentally handicapped,the stage of daily work and life in the club and the stage of returning to the community.It aims to assist the mentally handicapped groups to enhance their sense of reality,cultivate their sense of responsibility and stimulate their sense of hope for future work and life through the whole person rehabilitation service plan,professional ability improvement group,social work advocacy and other social work services,so as to gradually realize the objectives of actively participating in the development of clubs,improving vocational skills and returning to the community with cultural significance.The study found that the positive factors and internalizing forces formed by the mentally handicapped groups in the rehabilitation services under the guidance of rehabilitation theory,such as sense of belonging,sense of responsibility and sense of hope,are conducive to helping the mentally handicapped overcome various internal and external obstacles that may exist in the process of vocational rehabilitation,so as to truly obtain professional growth and effectively promote the realization of vocational rehabilitation.Finally,this study makes a relevant discussion on the involvement of social work in vocational rehabilitation services for people with mental disorders.
