Medical Social Work Intervention In Exercise Rehabilitation Of Pitients With Mental Disorders

In October 2016,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Outline of the Healthy China 2030 Plan,which highly affirmed the positive role of sports rehabilitation in health promotion,prevention and rehabilitation of chronic diseases.Based on long-term work and social practice,the author has seen the dawn of sports rehabilitation in promoting social rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders from the Outline of "Healthy China 2030".Therefore,this study is committed to exploring the effect of exercise rehabilitation on patients with mental disorders by medical social workers.Through the analysis of the necessity and feasibility of exercise rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders,the construction of exercise rehabilitation training programs and implementation of intervention,and verification of the effectiveness of exercise rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders,so as to supplement the social rehabilitation system for patients with mental disorders.To enrich the relevant theories of exercise rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders,clarify the influencing factors of medical social work involvement in exercise rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders,and provide service guidance for front-line social workers,hospitals and communities.Based on the questionnaire and semi-structured interview of patients with mental disorders,their families and medical staff in Yuzhong District of Chongqing,the author learned about the needs of patients with mental disorders in the jurisdiction.Based on the guidance of sports rehabilitation theory,the author carried out the intervention of sports rehabilitation with the comprehensive working method of medical social work,and evaluated the intervention effect through experimental research and semi-structured interview.It is concluded that sports rehabilitation can reduce the depression and anxiety of patients with mental disorders and improve their social function and life satisfaction.On the basis of intervention,the author analyzed the influencing factors of medical social work’s intervention in sports rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders.The following suggestions are put forward from the aspects of social influence,professional medical institution influence factor,medical social worker influence factor,family influence factor and individual influence factor of patients with mental disorders: In terms of social influencing factors,it advocates the formulation of policies and operational guidelines for medical social work to carry out sports rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders,eliminate exclusion,discrimination and stigma for patients with mental disorders,and advocate the establishment of an inclusive and equal social environment.In terms of the influencing factors of professional medicine,it calls for strengthening the understanding of medical professional institutions on the function of medical social work,improving the occupational system of medical social work,strengthening the cooperation between medical social workers and medical staff,and improving the integration and utilization of resources.In terms of influencing factors of medical social workers,it is suggested to improve the professional quality of medical social workers and strengthen the support of professional social work service institutions to medical social workers.In terms of family influencing factors of patients with mental disorders,the cognition of patients’ family members on sports rehabilitation and their confidence in patients’ recovery should be improved,and the services of breathing and decompression should be provided for the family members.In terms of patients with mental disorders,patients’ trust in medical social workers and awareness of sports rehabilitation should be improved to reduce the impact of diseases on service continuity.It is hoped that through the above suggestions,medical social workers can further improve the intervention system of exercise rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders,so as to truly contribute to the recovery of patients with mental disorders.
