| According to a survey conducted by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2017,the number of patients with various types of mental disorders in urban and rural areas in China exceeded 100 million, and in 2021,this figure was still as high as 8.2 million. With the development of time, the number of patients with mental disorders in China remains high, but the supporting resources and services are not ideal:first, the current number of psychiatric professionals and bed allocation and other resources in China are seriously insufficient;Second,China has long adopted a centralized management and disease control approach, ignoring the mental health of patients, resulting in poor compliance with medical treatment. The contradiction between demand and service supply has led to the repeated onset of mental disorders due to the lack of effective rehabilitation services for patients with mental disorders, gradually losing control of their lives, resulting in social withdrawal, and greatly reducing the efficiency of personal rehabilitation. As a result, the families and communities of patients with mental disorders are also facing certain pressures. In order to alleviate the current situation and promote the rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders,China has issued relevant documents and policies for macro guidance in recent years. The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out to improve the social security and care service system for disabled people, promote the construction of a healthy China, attach importance to mental health and mental health, and guide the direction of mental health work. However, relying solely on national power cannot cover such a large number of patients and service scope, which has prompted social forces to enter the field of mental health.Among them, social work focuses on providing mental health services based on physical diseases for patients with mental disorders, promoting their integration into society, and regaining hope for life, with the service concept of helping others to help themselves, equality, and empathy. In order to explore the effectiveness of social work intervention in community rehabilitation for patients with mental disorders, literature research, interviews, and observation methods were used to analyze the current situation, problems, and needs of target groups in J Street,Chengdu, and social work methods were used to intervene. After investigation,it was found that this group of mental disorders generally had problems with social impairment, and individual individuals had problems with self-cognitive bias, personal values, and potential that could not be reasonably exploited.Under the guidance of the theory of recovery and interpersonal needs, group work is used to intervene in homogeneous social interaction problems.During the intervention process, identify prominent and representative service objects, adopt case work methods, further develop services around their social interaction,self-recognition,potential development, and other aspects,so as to improve their problems, and play a peer support role among groups with mental disorders. After assessing the effectiveness of social work intervention,it was found that the social interaction problems of service objects have gradually improved, their relationships have become closer, their peer support role has been brought into play, their personal values have been enhanced, and the service objects have a richer social life experience, indicating that social work under the guidance of pluralism can provide transitional services for patients with mental disorders from hospital to community to society,It has unique advantages in its community rehabilitation process. |
