Research On The Ability Construction Of Social Work Intervention In Community Self-Organization Governance

With the rapid development of urbanization in China and the recent implementation of the urban-rural integration development strategy,many rural areas have undergone administrative adjustments in response to the needs of urbanization.The original rural areas have begun to be governed in the form of urban communities,creating a new form of "village-to-residence" community.This type of community differs from general urban and rural communities.Therefore,various types of community self-organizations have emerged in response to the objective needs of governing "village-to-residence" communities and have initiated related "village-to-residence" community project construction.However,there is a lag in the governance capacity building of "village-toresidence" community self-organizations.Social work professional methods need to be introduced to enhance the governance capacity of "village-to-residence" community self-organizations and explore and refine a practical and feasible path for the development of self-governance capacity building in "village-to-residence" communities.In order to solve the above problems,this study selects the self-organization of X "village-to-residence" community in Y township as the research object.Based on the literature on "village-to-residence" and community self-organization construction at home and abroad,this paper makes an in-depth investigation and case analysis on the self-organization governance capacity building of X "village-to-residence" community.The study analyzed the problems in the governance capacity of X community’s self-organization and targeted the practical problems of low autonomy,lack of professional knowledge and skills,strong resource dependence,and insufficient integration capacity.The study initiated a community self-organization governance capacity building project based on the theory of capacity enhancement,evaluated the project’s effectiveness through interviews and field observations after the project’s completion,and then summarized the optimization path of social work intervention in "village-toresidence" community self-organization governance capacity building.The theoretical significance of this study lies in its ability to help subsequent research enrich research perspectives and explore the role and function of social work in the process of intervening in "village-to-residence" self-organization governance capacity building.The practical significance lies in exploring the field of social work intervention in the new era,enriching the content of social work practice,improving social workers’ professional abilities,effectively enhancing service quality,enhancing the recognition of service recipients for the social work profession,and better serving the community and its residents.
