In 2017,the "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools" formulated by the Ministry of Education clearly defined the content of the core literacy of Chinese language,providing new ideas and directions for educational reform.Classical Chinese is an important carrier of our country’s traditional culture,and learning classical Chinese is an important way for students to understand the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and improve their language literacy.However,there are still many problems in the current teaching of classical Chinese in high schools,which do not meet the requirements of cultivating core literacy.Moreover,there are various problems in the design of classical Chinese homework,such as single functionality,which fails to fully exert its diverse effects on cultivating core literacy.Homework is an important link in education and teaching.It not only checks students’ learning outcomes but also serves as a potential resource to help students construct knowledge,improve abilities,and form qualities.It is one of the pathways to cultivate core literacy.Therefore,exploring the assignment design of classical Chinese in high schools guided by the cultivation of core Chinese literacy is of great significance.This paper takes the design of high school literary homework as an entry point,and explores the optimization strategy of high school literary homework design,which helps to broaden the cultivation of core literacy and give full play to the value of homework.Chapter 1 of this paper mainly introduces related concepts and theories.In Chapter 2,through questionnaire surveys of students and teachers,the current situation of classical Chinese homework in high schools is understood,and the problems existing in the current classical Chinese homework in high schools are analyzed according to the requirements of core literacy.The main manifestations are homework are narrow and do not integrate literacy requirements,shallow development of thinking ability;lack of contextuality in homework assignments,neglecting the mastery of aesthetic skills;weak era relevance of homework materials,lack of connection between traditional culture and modern society.Chapter 3 explores the strategies of classical Chinese homework design in high schools from aspects such as selecting appropriate design objectives,matching homework design types,selecting homework design methods,controlling the breadth and difficulty of homework,grasping homework frequency,and clarifying homework stratification.Chapter 4 establishes a feedback mechanism for classical Chinese homework in high schools based on the core literacy of Chinese language,striving to achieve sustainable improvement in classical Chinese homework design and fully exert the value of homework in improving students’ academic quality and teachers’ teaching quality.
