The requirement of the current new curriculum reform in China is to develop students’ necessary knowledge and key abilities.STEAM education philosophy is based on project-based learning and problem-based learning as the main teaching(learning)method,guiding students to complete project activities through group cooperation and practice,and solving real situational problems;In the process of real practice and operation,students can improve their hands and brains,spread their thinking,improve their ability of error detection and correction,and gradually establish a sense of innovation.Through the research of relevant literature at home and abroad,the research of core concepts and related concepts,and the investigation and research of the current situation of the application of project-based chemistry teaching in senior high school,this paper constructs the process of project-based chemistry learning in senior high school based on STEAM education concept: 1.The project preparation stage:(1)Select the project theme;(2)Objective analysis;(3)Project planning.2.Project implementation stage:(1)integrate project resources;(2)Activity inquiry;(3)Production results.3.Project evaluation stage:(1)results exchange;(2)Summary and evaluation.According to this process,this study designed the teaching case of "Study Artemisinin Like Tu Youyou" and implemented systematic teaching.The learners comprehensively applied multidisciplinary knowledge,conducted long-term open exploration in the way of group cooperation,and presented the learning results in the form of project works,finally achieving knowledge construction and improvement of their own ability.The project-based learning of chemistry in senior high school based on STEAM education concept can cultivate students’ ability to use interdisciplinary thinking to solve complex problems in real situations.It is an effective teaching method to promote the integrated development of core literacy,and also an important starting point to promote the transformation of educational development paradigm.Based on the existing project-based learning cases,this paper integrates the STEAM education concept,further improves the existing project-based learning resources according to the new curriculum standard,enriches the project-based learning resource library of the key content of the curriculum standard in senior high school,promotes the integrated implementation of teaching evaluation of project-based learning,and provides a more complete teaching reference for front-line teachers.
