With the advancement of the country's basic education reform,the cultivation of students' core literacy has been increasingly valued.New curriculum standard emphasizes the significance of “quality-oriented” teaching,whose requirements can be satisfied by project-based learning.Project-based learning allows students to implement inquiry learning in real question setting,which can enhance students' ability of knowledge acquisition and knowledge application,as well as practical operation ability.The learning model develop students' core literacy gradually,is conducive to the comprehensive development of “knowledge,ability and literacy”.Thus,project-based learning is of prime importance in chemistry teaching in senior high school.The paper aims at constructing the teaching model of organic chemistry in senior high school based on project-based learning.Literature research method and experiment research method are applied to conduct the study.Firstly,the author understands the characteristics and process and summarizes the current application situation of project-based learning in chemistry subject in senior high school by combing related literatures about project-based learning at home and abroad,so as to propose design principles and mentality of project-based learning.Secondly,taking senior high school organic chemistry as an example,the project teaching design on three themes of ethanol,glucose and phenolic resin was designed from the aspects of project content and theme analysis,project learning objectives,project teaching tasks and processes.Finally,the project-based learning practical study on organic chemistry is conducted in experimental class,grade 2 in a senior high school.At the same time,the analysis is completed to describe the effect of project-based learning on organic chemistry according to project assessment,students' tests and self-evaluation scales.The results show that the coalesce of project-based learning and organic chemistry teaching has great contribution to enhance students' comprehensive learning ability,as well as the subject core literacy of attaching importance to inquiry experiment,concerning technical development and participating in social issues.Through teacher interviews,it discussed the selection of project topics,the cultivation of student core literacy,and the development of teacher teaching and research capabilities in senior high school chemistry project-based learning,and proposed project activities.Besides,the current paper puts forward some suggestions on project activities.Finally,summary and prospect the application of project-based leaning in organic chemistry in senior high school by reviewing the practical research.
