STEAM education is interdisciplinary education.The concept of STEAM education takes "interdisciplinary" as the core.In real situations,students can solve practical problems and improve their comprehensive quality by independently establishing the connection of multiple disciplines.Micro-project learning is a learning model in which students make micro-project results through micro-project activities to solve practical problems.Both the direction of the new curriculum reform and the 2017 version of high school chemistry of new general requirements,aim to develop the theory and practice,harmonious and unified comprehensive talents,science and the humanities will therefore STEAM education concept combined with micro project learning applied in the high school chemistry teaching is worthy of study,this is also the subject of this study.This thesis firstly systematically understands the theoretical development,practical experience,and research trend of STEAM education,project-based learning,and micro-project learning through literature research,and deeply analyzes the advantages of micro-project learning in the teaching of elemental compounds.It lays a theoretical foundation for the practical research of STEAM education combined with micro-project learning applied to the teaching of chemical elements and compounds in high school.Secondly,by referring to the gold design standard of project learning and combining the characteristics of STEAM education,the design principles,elements,and processes of micro-project learning are formulated.Thirdly,by carefully reading the "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 edition)" and the New High School chemistry textbooks,the core content of teaching practice is selected,and the teaching design is carried out according to the design principles,elements and processes of micro-project learning.After continuous modification and improvement,two micro-project teaching designs were finally formed: "Scientific use of chlorine-containing disinfectant--Taking 84 disinfectant as an example" and "factory cooperation – a review lesson on the conversion of sulfur-containing substances ",and they were applied to teaching practice for research.Finally,through the comparative analysis of the questionnaire and the chemical scores before and after the test,and the analysis of the activity performance of the experimental class based on the evaluation scale,a comprehensive evaluation and conclusion is drawn.The conclusions of this study are as follows: Firstly,the application of micro-project learning mode based on STEAM education concept in high school chemistry teaching is helpful to change students’ attitude and learning mode of chemistry learning,and stimulate students’ interest in chemistry learning;Secondly,the application of micro-project learning mode based on STEAM education concept in high school chemistry teaching can improve students’ ability to cooperate and solve comprehensive practical problems,and further implement the core quality of chemistry.Thirdly,the application of the micro-project learning mode based on the STEAM education concept in the teaching of chemical elements and compounds in high school is conducive to the establishment of knowledge connections among students and the internalization of knowledge structure. |
