Academic development has always been the focus of social concern,and people generally believe that intellectual factors have a great impact on academic development.However,the study found that non intellectual factors such as core self-evaluations,academic emotions are also important influencing factors of academic development.As an important factor affecting academic development,academic emotions is affected by individual and environmental factors.positive academic emotions are of great benefit to students’ physical and mental health,learning attitude and cognitive activities.In order to further enhance the positive academic emotions,this study took middle school students as subjects,focusing on the impact of the environmental factor of parenting style and the individual factor of core self-evaluations on academic emotions.Through the research on the relationship between the parenting style,core self-evaluations and academic emotions,this paper puts forward targeted educational countermeasures,in order to better promote parents to improve their parenting style,promote students to enhance core self-evaluations and improve their academic emotions.In this study,500 students from 3 middle schools in Hanzhong were investigated and the results are as follows:1.The parental warmth of middle school students is at the middle level,while the parental rejection and parents overprotection are at the lower-middle level.Some dimensions of parenting style differ significantly in school stage,gender,whether they are an only child,and where they were born.2.The core self-evaluations of middle school students is at the middle level,with significant differences in gender and origin.3.The positive academic emotions of middle school students is at the upper-middle level,The negative academic emotions of middle school students is at the middle level,with significant differences in gender and origin.4.The parenting style and core self-evaluations of middle school students are significantly related to their academic emotions.5.Parenting style and core self-evaluations of middle school students can predict academic emotions.6.Middle school students’ core self-evaluations has a mediating effect between parenting style and academic emotions.According to the research results,the corresponding educational countermeasures are proposed:1.Optimize educational concepts and techniques to enhance parental warmth;2.Parents change their traditional ideas and implement a androgynous parenting style;3.Reduce parents overprotection and improve children’s independence;4.Students should evaluate themselves reasonably and improve their positive academic emotions;5.Set up mental health courses to strengthen students’ emotional counseling.
