With the development of society,people pay more and more attention to the training of pupils’ good behavior,Influencing factors on pupils’ behavior,parenting style have a direct impact on students’ learning,social interaction,daily actions.However,students’ learning behavior is one question that parents are most concerned about.Studies have shown that,in the process of pupils’ learning will exist more or less academic procrastination behavior.Every parent wants their children to have a good study habits,but parenting styles,which are conducive to children’s development,impacting on children is a very important issue.This studies analysis the procrastination issues rural pupils with pre-existing studies.Questionnaire methods used to explore the relationship of parenting styles and academic procrastination.Results showed that:1.Procrastination in rural pupils is prevalent,20% for slight procrastination,73.8% for moderate,6.2% for severe.In terms of gender,there is a significant difference between boys and girls,Boys are obviously more procrastinative than the girls.There are no significant differences on grades,guardians,birth order,parents’ education background.2.In term of family rearing,parents reject or excessively protect boys,and father reject more than mother.Father’s excessive protections and mother’s rejections are reduced with growth.While mothers with lower education will take over protected education style.3.Procrastination of pupils is significantly related to emotional warm and rejection factors of parenting style.Emotional warm and rejection factors of fathers’ parenting style can clearly predict pupils’ academic procrastination level. |
