The Mechanism And Empirical Test Of Digital Economy Driving The High-quality Development Of Sports Tourism Industry

Industrial integration is a prominent trend of industrial evolution and development,among which the sports tourism industry in recent years has been growing rapidly worldwide,with an average annual growth rate of more than 14%.As a new type of leisure and entertainment industry,sports tourism industry and tourism industry in developed countries account for 25%.China’s sports tourism industry is relatively small in scale,but it still has a large space for development.As China’s economic development enters a new stage of development,high-quality development has become an important transformation form of industrial economic development,and digital economy provides strong momentum for high-quality development.Accordingly,digital economy has also created significant opportunities for the high-quality development of sports tourism industry.In the face of the current development difficulties and opportunities of sports tourism industry,it has become a hot topic to study the theory and demonstration of high-quality development of sports tourism industry driven by digital economy.Based on the collation of relevant literature on sports tourism industry,this paper constructs a research framework on the high-quality development of sports tourism industry driven by digital economy.First of all,under the support of industrial integration theory,Marx’s economic development theory and industrial aggregation theory,this paper organically combines the sports tourism industry with the characteristics of happiness industry and health industry and the high-quality development of green,fair,efficient and sustainable characteristics,comprehensively analyzes the internal logic of high-quality development of sports tourism industry.On this basis,it analyzes the internal mechanism of digital economy to the high-quality development of sports tourism industry.Secondly,on the basis of the above theoretical analysis,the evaluation system is constructed for the high-quality development of sports tourism industry and the development of digital economy in the Yellow River Basin,and the entropy method,coupling coordination degree model and kernel density estimation methods are used for objective weighting and development index calculation.It also evaluates the high-quality development of sports tourism industry and the development trend of digital economy in detail from the overall level,sub-regional level and sub-dimension level.Finally,using fixed effect panel regression and adding other control variables that affect the high-quality development of sports tourism industry,the paper empirically tests the role level of digital economy in driving the high-quality development of sports tourism industry from direct effects and transmission effects.According to the above analysis,the research conclusion is drawn:(1)Through literature analysis,four integration categories,three-dimensional structure optimization,one orientation following and three elements input internal logic of high-quality development of sports tourism industry are analyzed.Secondly,it clarifies the influence mechanism of digital economy driving the high-quality development of sports tourism industry,and forms a direct driving effect from the precise allocation effect and technology enabling effect.Cost saving effect and consumption expansion effect constitute the transmission driving effect.Based on the above analysis,four hypotheses are proposed to lay a theoretical foundation for panel regression.(2)Through theoretical analysis,a high-quality development index system of sports tourism industry is constructed from four dimensions: industrial base,structural optimization,efficiency improvement and industrial driving force.The development index system of digital economy is constructed from three dimensions of digital infrastructure,digital service capability and digital industry income.Based on the panel data of the Yellow River Basin from 2011 to 2020,it is found that the development of sports tourism industry in the Yellow River Basin presents a steady trend of improvement,in which the sports industry has sustained strength in recent years,with obvious growth,while the development of the tourism industry has been relatively stable.The development level of digital economy presents an obvious "high in the east and low in the west" stepped characteristics.(3)In the past ten years,the coupling coordination relationship of the sports tourism industry in the Yellow River Basin has undergone five evolution states: "mild disordering-near disordering-reluctant coordination-primary coordination-medium extreme coordination process",showing a trend of moving forward from the initial stage to the stable stage and then to the mature stage.From the perspective of space,the overall regional differences are large,there is a trend of continued growth,but there is no multi-polarization phenomenon.(4)Digital economy has a significant positive impact on the high-quality development of sports tourism industry.If our digital economy level increases by 1%,the high-quality development level of the sports tourism industry will be improved by0.5961%.Among them,investment in fixed assets,developed degree of transportation and greening rate of built-up areas have significant positive influence on the high-quality development of sports tourism industry.Economic development level and population size have negative influence on the development coefficient of sports tourism industry,and foreign investment does not pass the significance test.(5)To strengthen the top-level design based on the empirical results and give play to the advantages of policy resources;Improve infrastructure and strengthen the foundation of digital transformation;Strengthen regional synergy to realize rational allocation of data resources;Policy proposals include innovation-driven development and breaking the dilemma in the pool of high-end talent.It can be seen that,on the one hand,digital economy accelerates the deep integration of sports tourism industry,stimulates the expansion of market demand,relieves the pressure of internal and external environment,and reproduces the process of industrial value creation.On the other hand,it also injects new impetus for the rationalization and upgrading of sports tourism industry structure,the digital transformation of sports tourism enterprises and the improvement of sports tourism industry efficiency.In addition,through the measurement and evaluation of the high-quality development of sports tourism industry and the development of digital economy in 9 provinces and regions of the Yellow River Basin,this study verified the driving path and role of digital economy in the high-quality development of sports tourism industry,and provided empirical evidence and practical ideas for the high-quality development of sports tourism industry in the Yellow River Basin,which has important practical significance.
