The promulgation of the 2017 version of the curriculum standards marks that Chinese teaching has entered the era of core literacy,and the proposal of “Big Unit”teaching models conforms to the requirements of curriculum reform in the new era.In this study,the content of “Practical Reading and Communication” in 18 task groups is used to carry out “Big Unit” teaching practice.By defining the basic concepts of “Big Unit teaching” and “Practical Reading and Communication” task groups,the teaching characteristics of “Big Unit” literacy goals,task-driven holistic design,and practiceoriented in-depth learning are clarified.With the help of comparison with practical teaching,it is proposed that the teaching of task groups needs to implement the strategy of “teaching according to the body”,implement multi-dimensional and multi-level integration,and use the principle of “task-activity” to organize teaching.On this basis,the feasibility of “Big Unit” teaching based on the “Practical Reading and Communication” task group is analyzed.The characteristics of such teaching are summarized from the perspectives of two-line blending theme design,overall concretization of unit coordination,and contextual inquiry-based activity sequences.In the process of putting theory into practice,the new textbook is deeply interpreted and a general strategy for implementing “Big Unit” teaching is constructed.It includes: condensing the theme of the “Big Unit” and determining the goal of the “Big Unit”;Integrate teaching content and decompose lesson tasks;Design contextual activities and build learning stands;Teaching,learning and evaluation is integrated,focusing on multiple evaluations.This research combines theory and practice,carries out large-scale unit teaching practice,reflects on the practical results,deepens understanding,improves design strategies and further guides teaching.
