Higher-order thinking quality and thinking skills are important elements of the "Development and Enhancement of Thinking" core literacy in high school languages,and are included throughout the high school language task group series.The value of the "Practical Reading and Communication" task group is to develop higher-order thinking skills and enhance thinking quality by focusing on and exploring the practical language and texts in students’ current social lives and setting up appropriate learning activities.The learning significance of this task group is to enrich students’ knowledge experience and emotional experience,improve practical reading and practical expression skills,enhance the application level of abilities,and ultimately promote the overall development of students’ literacy.By analyzing the results of the questionnaire and the test with the help of SPSS,summarizing the problems and causes from both subjective and objective dimensions,exploring the value of the task group of "Practical Reading and Communication" and the higher-order thinking of high school language,and designing The "Practical Reading and Communication" task group’s big concept learning program and unit task series are designed and presented as a cultivation path.The Big Concepts Learning Program is designed to extract the big concepts of higher-order thinking skills from the big units and use them as the core to design learning tasks for developing thinking skills and thinking qualities;the Unit Task Series is designed to combine the humanistic themes of the units and the list of unit learning tasks to develop higher-order thinking skills and thinking qualities in a targeted way.The implementation of the big concept learning program and the unit task series has basically achieved the goal of developing higher-order thinking in the language subject under the task group of "Practical Reading and Communication",but there are also shortcomings such as the mismatch between the design of the links and students’ existing abilities and the one-sidedness of the objects involved in the activities.The results of the study on the development of higher-order thinking in the "Practical Reading and Communication" task series provide theoretical support and case reference for the development and enhancement of higher-order thinking skills in high school languages. |
