Ancient poetry and prose are an important part of Chinese culture,and the excellent traditional culture contained therein is still of great value today.For junior high school students,learning ancient poetry and prose is an important way to inherit excellent traditional culture,so ancient poetry and prose are an important part of junior high school Chinese textbooks.Different from previous textbooks of various editions,the Chinese textbooks in the ministry edition of junior high school are innovative in the selection of ancient poems and prose,which should be updated with The Times in terms of teaching.This paper helps teachers and students to fully grasp the content of the textbook by analyzing the arrangement style,content and educational value of the selected text of ancient poetry in the Chinese textbook edited by the analysis department.The combination of textbook analysis and teaching practice can improve teachers’ teaching level and students’ interest in learning.First of all,based on the Chinese textbooks for junior middle school edited by the ministry,this study carefully combs all the ancient poems and prose in the textbooks,and analyzes them from two aspects of arrangement structure and selection of texts in the form of tables.On this basis,it clarifies the value of teaching ancient poems and prose,the changes of text selection of textbooks,as well as the advantages and disadvantages.Then questionnaire survey is adopted to understand the current situation of the teaching of ancient poetry and prose from the perspective of teachers and students,and the existing problems in the teaching of ancient poetry and prose are obtained by analyzing the questionnaire data.Finally,under the guidance of relevant theories,combined with the analysis of the deficiencies in teaching materials and teaching problems,put forward effective suggestions on these two aspects.In view of the selection of ancient poetry and prose in Chinese textbooks for junior middle school,some feasible suggestions are given for the compilation of textbooks,such as paying attention to improving the balance of the dynasties and styles of the selected texts and appropriately reducing the difficulty of self-reading texts.At the same time,according to the current teaching situation,it is proposed that teachers should "understand" the teaching materials thoroughly,make full use of the teaching materials,and flexibly change the teaching methods on the basis of the familiar teaching materials.I hope it can provide some help to textbook editors and front-line Chinese teachers.
