| The release and implementation of 5 curriculum standards including "Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Secondary Vocational Schools" has raised the requirements for secondary vocational students’ information technology skills. Therefore, the new curriculum standards require the introduction of novel concepts and teaching models in the IT classroom. However, traditional blended teaching continues to dominate the current IT teaching in secondary vocational schools. This has led to information technology courses falling behind and not meeting the needs of the times, which is especially unfavorable to low-level secondary vocational students, including noncomputer majors. To address these challenges, the learning community model is introduced as a teaching method that can quickly integrate different disciplines and produce highly skilled and versatile graduates.A teaching approach based on a "learning community" is a learner-centred pedagogy that emphasizes collaboration, interaction, and the development of social and communication skills. It involves breaking down traditional educational hierarchies and creating a collaborative environment where learners are encouraged to work together, share knowledge and experiences, and engage in reflective learning.Through the introduction of the learning community model,a large number of highly skilled and versatile graduates have been cultivated.Based on the comprehensive research and analysis of the current situation of information technology courses in secondary vocational schools, the author thinks that a teaching method that is more suitable for secondary vocational students or modern students should be adopted to deal with secondary vocational students’ acquisition of necessary information technology skills that meet the requirements of modern society.challenges.Specifically,the proposed method involves the implementation of the learning community pedagogy in the teaching of information technology in secondary vocational schools, starting from the course "Computer Fundamentals and Applications".This study adopts the learning community teaching method in the information technology teaching of secondary vocational schools to cultivate the information technology ability of secondary vocational students and make them adapt to the needs of modern society. The self-learning,self-confidence,teamwork spirit and expression ability of secondary vocational students will be cultivated. This study adopts a learnercentered teaching method, integrates practical projects into the curriculum, promotes collaborative learning, and promotes student development. It aims to create a supportive and interactive learning environment that encourages students to actively learn and develop necessary skills to meet the demands of the modern information age. This study selects two classes of students majoring in early childhood education in a secondary vocational college in Nanning,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research object.Select the course "Computer Fundamentals and Applications" and carry out a one-semester teaching practice research based on the new curriculum standard. The research is divided into three modules: literature review, teaching program design, and teaching effect evaluation. The literature review examines learning community pedagogy, including its origin and development, pedagogical philosophy, teaching models, and teaching evaluation. Then, according to the central idea and the central idea of the learning community theory of Professor Sato in Japan, three teaching projects of the "Computer Fundamentals and Applications" course were designed based on the teaching mode of "learning community".The application of the cycle of "action, observation and reflection" in project implementation. Finally, the effectiveness of the teaching method of learning community in the basic teaching of computer application in secondary vocational schools is evaluated by means of evaluation scoring table and final assessment. The results of the study showed that secondary vocational students who participated in the learning community teaching model developed a strong interest in computers, showed independent learning ability, and showed stronger self-confidence,teamwork spirit and expressive ability. These results highlight the effectiveness of the learning community teaching method in cultivating secondary vocational students’ information technology capabilities. Therefore,it is also hoped that this study will provide valuable reference and insights for secondary vocational information technology teaching and future research. |
