A country cannot prosper without morality,and a person cannot stand without morality.The foundation of education lies in cultivating virtues and shaping souls.The Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core attaches great importance to ideological and political courses and curriculum construction,It points out the direction and provides the basis for the ideological and political construction of the course ideology.Physics is a required course for middle school students,and the rich ideological and political elements contained within it are of great help in enhancing students’ ideological and political literacy and values education.Based on the definition of course ideology and physics teaching,as well as the analysis of the necessity and advantages of implementing course ideology in middle school physics,this study takes S Middle School in Huanggang City as an example.Through student questionnaires and teacher interviews,it investigates the current status of implementing course ideology in middle school physics teaching and identifies some shortcomings.To address these issues,this study proposes strategies in three areas:emphasizing the importance of physics teaching mechanisms,strengthening the role of physics teachers,and enhancing the quality of physics classrooms.These strategies can provide a reference for the implementation and development of course ideology in physics teaching.Next,taking the People’s Education Press’ middle school physics textbook as an example,this study explores the ideological elements contained in the physics textbook.These elements are divided into four dimensions: political literacy,scientific literacy,social ethics,and personal accomplishment.The study also proposes a path,principles,and teaching examples for integrating course ideology into middle school physics teaching.After a four-month teaching practice at S Middle School in Huanggang City,the effectiveness of the practice was examined through questionnaires and interviews with students in the experimental class.The results indicate that implementing course ideology in middle school physics teaching has a positive effect on students’ learning and the development of their ideological and political qualities.This study believes that the ideological and political education in junior middle school physics courses can be further researched from the following three aspects: first,schools should strengthen comprehensive leadership and establish an overall plan for integrating ideological and political education into physics curriculum;second,teachers should be the main driving force and play a pivotal role in integrating ideological and political education into the physics curriculum;third,multiple parties should be guided to participate,forming a collaborative effort in integrating ideological and political education into physics curriculum.
