Since the reform and opening up,China’s private education has been rapidly restored and developed.Under the guidance of the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Private Education Promotion Law",private education has made remarkable achievements,but there are also some management issues.The rapid development of private education has put forward higher requirements for the use of power by principals of private high schools.Relying solely on power cannot enable principals of private high schools to play the best role in management.It is necessary to organically combine power influence with non power influence in order to achieve the best management effect of private schools.This study is divided into four parts.The introduction section describes the research background,purpose and significance,domestic and foreign research reviews,related concepts,theoretical basis,and research methods.The first chapter is empirical research and analysis.This study conducted a questionnaire survey and interview study with principals and teachers of private high schools in M City as the research objects,and analyzed the current situation of non power influence of principals of private high schools in M City from five aspects: personality,knowledge,ability,emotion,and power utilization.The second chapter is an analysis of the problems and causes of the non power influence of the principals of private high schools in M City.This chapter focuses on exploring the problems of the non power influence of principals of private high schools in M City in five aspects: learning awareness,role positioning,emotional factors,educational research ability,and school running philosophy.Analyze the existing problems from the principal’s own factors,school and social factors,and summarize the reasons for the problems.The third chapter is the promotion strategy of the non power influence of the principals of private high schools in M City.Propose four promotion strategies to promote principals’ professional ability through active learning,promote principals’ scientific research ability through active exploration,promote principals’ awareness of position power through changing concepts,strengthen emotional integration between principals and faculty through good communication,and promote principals’ comprehensive ability through visionary leadership,with a view to providing reference suggestions for the promotion of non power influence of principals in private high schools in M City.
