| In the process of higher education teaching, teachers directly play an important role to influence the students'psychological and behavioral changes and the teaching effect. By using of good teaching approaches, the effect will be able to more than double. Otherwise, it may lead to be inefficient, or even invalid. That is, the crucial problem of teaching quality lies in the degree of its influence. Therefore, how to value the influence that teachers give to students is an important task faced by college teachers.With the rapid development of private colleges, its teachers have gradually become a vital force in the team of college teachers. Since the development of private higher education has its own characteristics, which determines private college teachers'generalization and particularity. Private college students has a very strong psychological dependence to teachers, therefore, study the influence of its teachers is more targeted.According to management leadership theory, leadership performance depends on the degree of its influence. Based on this theory, the article, combing the content and characteristics of influence theory, analyses the special influence of teachers of private colleges and suggests the ways to enhance it, after the research and practice in the private universities. Finally, based on these theories and combined with practical example of Xi'an international university, this article analysis the current influence of the teachers; to understand Private College students'evaluation and expectations to teachers and find out the reasons for the poor influence of them and faculty development problems.
