Practical Research On Chronic Disease Health Education For The Elderly In Rural Area

In recent years,the aging of Chinese population is becoming more and more serious,and the chronic disease of the elderly is becoming more and more prominent.Chronic disease has become one of the main problems that harm the health of the elderly group.Based on question demand,this paper conducted a survey of the elderly in G village with questionnaire survey and interview method,and found that the elderly in G village mainly had the following problems in chronic health education: weak awareness of health education,relatively simple ways to acquire chronic disease knowledge,irrational emotions and imperfect social support system.According to the problems of the elderly,the needs of the elderly in health education for chronic diseases in G village were analyzed.Guided by social learning theory,knowledge belief action theory and energy enhancement theory,8 elderly people in G village were recruited to form a group and six chronic disease health education group services were carried out.The main goal of the group activity is to provide health education to the elderly.The group service plan is designed from five perspectives of the cognitive ability,behavior style,emotional change,support system and health values of the group members.The effectiveness of the group service is evaluated by process evaluation and result evaluation.The results showed that through group activities,all the members had a more full understanding of chronic diseases,established healthy values,developed healthier living habits,and built a more favorable social support system.
