| Since entering the aging society,the number of elderly patients with chronic diseases has been expanding.Chronic diseases have become the primary disease and cause of death threatening human health.They will not only affect the health of patients,but also bring great economic burden to patients due to the huge medical expenses incurred in the treatment process,which makes patients face multiple physical,economic and psychological pressures.According to statistics,the incidence of chronic kidney disease in China is as high as 10.8%,and about 130 million of patients.The incidence rate of anxiety in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease is increasing,which not only affects the quality of life of patients,but also is not conducive to the treatment of chronic diseases.However,the way of relieving anxiety among such groups is limited.Social workers’ intervention can help elderly patients with chronic kidney disease expand their ways.Firstly,this study investigated the current situation of anxiety of elderly patients with chronic kidney disease in Z hospital through questionnaire and interview,and analyzed the specific needs of patients.Then,under the guidance of cognitive behavior theory and group dynamics theory,the group scheme was designed.Through five group activities,we can obtain professional medical knowledge,actively socialize,divert attention,and master the methods and skills of self-regulation,Change the four aspects of negative self-evaluation,so as to achieve the goal of helping team members correct the cognitive deviation of chronic diseases and alleviate anxiety.Finally,find the deficiencies in the team work through evaluation,and put forward targeted countermeasures for the deficiencies in different stages.The study found that group work has significant advantages in intervening in the anxiety relief of elderly patients with chronic diseases,responding to the needs of team members and making up for the lack of service;Establish a mutual support system to promote behavior change;Significantly improve patients’ self-confidence and make them look at life positively.There are still some deficiencies in this research. |
