In the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress,the key to implementing the rural revitalization strategy lies in talent revitalization.Since 2003,the No.1 Central Document has focused on agriculture,rural areas and farmers for 17 consecutive years.As a big agricultural country,it is of great importance for China to cultivate a team of people who have a profound understand of agriculture,and care about rural areas and farmers.The employment of college graduates is a key issue to ensure people’s livelihood.This is not only related to the construction and development of China’s socialist,but also economic and social stability and harmony.At the same time,it is also concerned about whether the graduates trained by China’s universities can give full play to the role of socialist successors and serve the society with their experience and knowledge learned in universities.The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy requires a large number of talents to go to the grassroots in rural areas,but at present,most college graduates give priority to big cities when choosing working and living areas.Therefore,on the one hand,the employment situation of college students is severe and difficult.On the other hand,the development and construction of talent team also restrict the development of grassroots rural areas.In the face of the current situation,it is urgent for us to thoroughly and deeply study the reasons why college graduates are not willing to go to rural areas for grassroots employment.In particular,the graduates of agriculture and forestry colleges,as professionals to implement rural revitalization,it is significant to explore their willingness and the influencing factors to serve rural grassroots,and put forward practical suggestions and countermeasures.To promote agricultural college students to choose to work in rural areas and at grassroots level,so as to promote the harmonious development of urban and rural areas and promote the coordinated development of social economy.In this paper,through field interviews and questionnaires among prospective graduates of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University,it is determined that individual factors,Individual interpersonal factors,and social factors affect the willingness of agriculture-related college students to seek employment at rural grassroots level.Through the results of the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the employment intention of agricultural college students,including their preferred area,position,the choice of rural grassroots employment position,the salary and welfare treatment requirements of rural grassroots work,and the positive driving factors and reverse hindering factors of rural grassroots employment.At the same time,the employment intention of agricultural college students facing the rural grassroots is analyzed,including the expected choice of rural employment units,the expected salary and welfare treatment of rural grassroots employment,the positive driving factors and the negative hindering ones for rural grassroots employment.And cross-analyze the data from the survey,three major factors are finally determined,that are whether the domicile,party members,family annual per capita income,level of rural economic development,rural residential environment,rural welfare and salary,side-support for rural grass-roots employment,knowledge for the rural grass-roots employment policy,employment policy to attract rural grassroots employment etc.Nine sub-factors as the interpretation of the binary logistic regression model are used to analyzed.Analysis the domicile,whether working for party members,family annual per capita income,rural human settlements environment,side support rural grass-roots employment,understand familiar with the rural grass-roots employment policy,employment policy to attract rural grassroots employment seven factors such as a significant impact,at the same time,the rural economy development level,the rural welfare and salary treatment no significant impact on these two factors.Finally,according to the analysis results,the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the willingness of agriculture-related college students to rural grassroots employment are as follows :1.the state should actively create a good social atmosphere to promote the rural grassroots employment of college students.2.The state should strengthen rural grassroots construction to provide inexhaustible talent power for rural development.3.Colleges and universities should actively do a good job in college students’ employment career planning guidance,cultivate college students to establish a correct concept.4.Colleges and universities should actively explore the training mode of students and innovate the practical teaching method at the grassroots level.5.College students involved in agriculture should change their employment concept and provide talent assistance for the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.6.College students involved in agriculture should improve their overall quality and lay the foundation for rural grass-roots development.
