Research On College Students’ Employment Perspective In Agricultural Rural Areas In The New Age Agricultural Colleges

In the new era,the main problem of agricultural and rural development in China is unbalanced and insufficient contradictions.Solving this problem requires the joint efforts of the agricultural work force including Agricultural University students.The government’s policy tendency to encourage agricultural college students to face employment in rural areas can greatly consolidate the basic position of agricultural industry and smoothly realize the life value of Agricultural College students.This paper makes a special investigation and Study on the employment view of different specialties of Shanxi Agricultural University towards agriculture and countryside.It is found that although agricultural college students highly agree with the important role of the employment strategy of "agriculture,countryside and farmers" and "rural revitalization",they are indifferent to the employment of agriculture and countryside and are unwilling to go to agriculture.Village employment,more reluctant to start a business in rural areas;in employment,they pay special attention to wages and welfare,but the current development of agriculture can not meet their material needs;they have strong desire to pursue personal development space,but also pay too much attention to the "workplace","hobbies" and "job stability",which pay too much attention to.The concept of personal value leads to the weakness of social responsibility consciousness,and the confusion of employment concept when facing agriculture and rural employment is not in line with the requirements of the new era.After discrepancy analysis of the relevant factors of College Students’ view of employment in rural areas,the paper draws the following conclusions:significant gender differences,significant differences in students’ origins,significant differences in parents’ occupations,significant differences in understanding employment policies,significant differences between agricultural and non-agricultural majors,and significant spatial differences in personal development.The conclusion is that there is no significant difference between undergraduate and master’s degree in employment in rural areas.This fully demonstrates that agricultural college students highly agree with the advantages of agricultural science and the national strategy of promoting agriculture,but they are indifferent to the employment intention of agricultural rural areas;pay too much attention to material demands,but the current situation of agricultural development can not meet the requirements;pay too much attention to the realization of personal interests,resulting in a weak sense of social responsibility;and face the employment concept of agricultural rural areas.It presents a confused state,which is inconsistent with the requirements of the times.Taking advantage of the distinctive characteristics of employment outlook,positive factors can be brought into play to find a breakthrough for agricultural and rural employment.In view of the problems existing in the employment view of agricultural college students facing agriculture and countryside in the new era,the author puts forward five suggestions: first,to strengthen the education of employment awareness in subject teaching,and to promote the transformation of the employment view of agricultural college students facing agriculture and countryside to rational behavior.The second is to strengthen the combination of employment education and ideological and political courses in Colleges and universities,and to promote the formation of employment atmosphere oriented to agricultural and rural employment as the mainstream.Thirdly,we should strengthen the guidance of employment concept through social system,standardize public opinion evaluation and behavior support to promote agricultural college students’ employment in rural areas.Fourthly,we should further improve and refine the policy system of supporting agriculture and promote the formation of institutional guarantee for employment in rural areas.Fifth,we should give full play to the role of family guidance and promote the establishment of college students’ ideals.
