| This thesis aims to explore the willingness of grassroots employment among higher vocational college students in the Inner Mongolia region,as well as the main factors affecting their willingness.Under the theoretical framework of employment behavior and human capital, this thesis investigates 334 students as samples from higher vocational colleges in Inner Mongolia, adopting a self-designed questionnaire,to explore the factors influencing their attitudes to grassroots employment. The survey responses are analyzed using statistical methods such as descriptive analysis and ordinal logistic regression. The results show that only 23.35% of the tested students are willing to work at the grassroot level after graduation. There are quite a few of them showing comparatively negative attitudes towards grassroots employment. The main factors affecting their willingness include individual factors such as political outlook, family residential area, score ranking as well as environmental factors such as employment region, working stability, development prospects. The study also finds that higher vocational college students in this region are looking forward to receiving more employment information and entrepreneurship training from the colleges and universities. Therefore,it is feasible to guide students to grassroots employment through preferential national policies. The findings of this thesis not only enrich the theoretical research on the employment of higher vocational college students, but also puts forward policy suggestions for improving the current status of grass-root employment of higher vocational college students in Inner Mongolia. |
