Research On Social Work Intervention In Rural Decentralized Support For The Elderly In Deprived Elderly

With the deepening of the aging degree in my country,the problem of old-age care in our country is becoming more and more serious.For rural areas with relatively backward economic conditions and inadequate various old-age service facilities,the problem of old-age care for the elderly needs to be solved more urgently.Among the pension problems for the elderly in rural areas,the pension problem of the special group of the elderly who are scattered in rural areas is worthy of attention.Based on the hierarchy of needs theory,social support theory and other professional theories,this paper discusses the practice of social work intervening in rural elderly care services for the elderly in poverty.Carry out research on the implementation process and content,discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this service form,analyze the difficulties encountered in the service process,explore solutions and optimization measures,and promote its development.This paper takes the care service project of D social work organization in Wanzai County as an example to collect data through questionnaires,interviews,etc.,combined with literature review,observation methods,etc.,to obtain data related to the research content.The study found that social work has the following problems in intervening in rural decentralized elderly care services for the destitute elderly: at the government level,the procurement mechanism is imperfect,and the evaluation system is imperfect;at the level of social work institutions: lack of operational independence;immature management systems need to be improved: At the service target level,the lack of awareness of social workers in decentralized support for the elderly in extreme poverty.In response to the above problems,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: at the government level,improve the national purchasing mechanism and improve the service evaluation system;at the social work organization level,broaden the channels for project acquisition,expand the source of funds,strengthen professional training,and improve the professional ability of social workers;at the service target level,to formulate targeted service plans to improve the quality of services for the elderly in rural areas.By solving the problem of rural scattered support for the elderly in extreme poverty,it is conducive to promoting the development of social work intervention in rural home-based elderly care services.
