| In September 2014,The State Council issued the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System,officially launching a new round of college entrance examination reform.The new college entrance examination has broken through the traditional pattern of subject division in liberal arts and sciences and endowed senior high school students with unprecedented independent choice with flexible subject selection scheme.The correct choice of subject is not only related to high school students’ voluntary application,college major selection and career development planning,but also closely related to the country’s future talent training and social development."Subject selection" has become the focus of social attention,history as one of the six elective subjects,its selection status is worth paying attention to.High school art and physical education students(namely art and sports students)is a relatively special group emerging in high school education stage.With the reform of education mode and college entrance examination system,the proportion of senior high school art and physical education students choosing history subjects is also increasing gradually.There are 16 prefectural cities in Shandong Province.A survey of 1506 art and physical education students and history teachers and headteachers in 6 representative high schools in Jinan,Qingdao,Dezhou,Liaocheng,Weifang and Heze shows that history is favored by art and physical education students.History,politics and geography became a popular combination.At the same time,there are gender and urban-rural differences in the selection of history subjects.The result of college entrance examination is the main factor that affects art and physical education students to choose history subjects.The survey data show that there are some problems in the selection of history subjects,for example,some art and sports students do not have a thorough understanding of the new college entrance examination policy;Schools and teachers are not perfect in selecting subjects;There is a deviation between the motive and interest of art and physical education students in choosing history.Art and sports students despise the status of history.There are some problems in the history classroom teaching of art and sports students,such as teaching contents,teaching methods and traditional teaching evaluation.In view of the above problems,this paper,based on the three levels of schools,teachers,art and sports students,puts forward the test selection countermeasures and strategies to improve the effectiveness of history classroom teaching: schools should interpret the new college entrance examination policy,formulate a perfect subject selection guidance program;History teachers should take advantage of the situation and strengthen the history classroom teaching of art and physical education students.Art and physical education students should establish the subject consciousness of choosing subjects. |
