The"Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System"promulgated by the State Council in 2014 shows that the new round of reform of the college entrance examination is advancing in an orderly manner,and Fujian Province,as the third batch of pilot reform areas,has effectively promoted the reform work.Fujian Province adopts the"3+1+2"plan.This plan is different from Zhejiang’s"7-choice 3"and Shanghai’s"6-choice 3"plan.This plan is more moderate and reduces the combination of college entrance examination subjects to 12.From an operational point of view,it is more conducive to implementation.The diversification of subject choices ensures that students can choose according to their personal hobbies,interests,specialties,and the admission requirements of the schools and majors they intend to apply for,as well as the conditions of high school schools.Quality.Students’interest in learning is an important judging indicator for students’college entrance examination subject selection,and is closely related to the college entrance examination subject selection.Therefore,it is particularly important to understand the current situation of high school students’learning interest in Fujian Province,and then to explore the impact of students’learning interest on college entrance examination subject selection is also realistic significance.Based on cognitivism theory,Herbart’s multi-interest theory and humanistic learning theory,this paper clarifies the concept of learning interest,and sorts out the relationship between learning interest and the choice of subjects in the college entrance examination.This paper investigates the current situation of high school students’learning interest in Fujian Province and the impact of high school students’learning interest on the subject selection of the college entrance examination by using the self-made questionnaires on students’learning interests,college entrance examination subject selection questionnaires,and college entrance examination subject selection external factors.Taking the characteristics of interest proposed by Professor Huang Xiting as the criteria for dividing the dimensions of the questionnaire,it examines the current situation of students’interest in learning from four aspects:the tendency of interest,the breadth of interest,the persistence of interest,and the efficacy of interest;(Human geography)and partial science(natural science)to investigate the current situation of the influence of learning interest on the choice of subjects in the college entrance examination,and examine the external factors affecting students’choice of subjects in the college entrance examination from three aspects:parents,schools,and teachers.Taking senior high school students of various types of high schools in Fujian Province as the survey objects,a total of 428questionnaires were collected,of which 217 were selected for the liberal arts(human geography)and 211 were selected for the science(natural science)in the college entrance examination.With good reliability and validity,the obtained data were processed and analyzed through exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,independent sample T test and other statistical methods.Finally,based on the questionnaire analysis,this paper conducts semi-structured interviews with high school students,parents,school teachers,and school management through the proposed interview outline.The problems existing in the subject,through the understanding of students’learning interests,also expand the understanding of the relationship between students’learning interests and college entrance examination subject selection in empirical research.Through statistical analysis of the collected data,this study draws the following conclusions:First,through the investigation of the current situation of high school students’interest in learning in Fujian Province,it is found that the overall level of high school students’interest in learning in Fujian Province is good,and there are differences in different demographic variables;Significantly.The four dimensions of learning interest have a positive and significant impact on the selection of liberal arts(human geography)subjects in the college entrance examination for high school students in Fujian Province.The second is the efficacy of interest 2(expectation for further studies),and the efficacy of interest 1(future career needs)has the least impact on the liberal arts(human geography)choice of college entrance examination subjects for high school students in Fujian Province.Three of the four dimensions of learning interest(broadness,persistence,and effectiveness of interest)have a positive and significant impact on the science(natural science)subjects chosen by high school students in Fujian Province for the college entrance examination.By comparing the beta values of the three dimensions with significant effects,it is found that the persistence of interest has the greatest impact on the science(natural science)subject choice of high school students in Fujian Province in the college entrance examination,followed by the efficacy of interest 2(expectation for further studies),the least impact is the efficacy of interest 1(future occupational needs).Third,external factors(teachers,schools,parents)affect students’interest in learning,and thus affect students’choice of subjects in the college entrance examination.By summarizing and analyzing the research conclusions,in order to better play the role of learning interest in promoting the selection of college entrance examination subjects,this research is based on Herbart’s multi-interest theory and humanistic learning theory as the theoretical basis for proposing problem-solving strategies.From the three aspects of self and students’parents,starting from improving students’interest in learning,combined with the analysis of the problems in the process of students’college entrance examination,some feasible suggestions are put forward to the problems existing in the new college entrance examination reform for high school students’college entrance examination subjects.
