Parent-child relationship is the first interpersonal relation in one’s life,and is the most important relation in one’s family.Primary school period is a critical period,which can lays a solid foundation for future growth.The physical and mental development of students in primary school is immature and unstable.With the rapid development of The Times,the gap between their ideas and their parents is getting bigger and bigger.Therefore,it is especially easy to have conflicts,friction and even conflicts with their parents,causing tension in parent-child relationship,and then affecting their physical and mental development.Consequently,to explore how to improve the condition is of much importance theoretically and practically.In order to study the current status of parent-child relationship among primary school students,this study selected a school with the largest number of students in Liaocheng to carry out a survey,and the survey results have a certain representativeness.During the investigation,we use the "Parent-Child Relationship Test" for all the primary school grade four students,understand the student the overall condition of the parent-child relationship.In order to understand the specific reason for the lead to poor parent-child relationship next by the self-edited interview outline,for five of parent-child relationship tension of parent-child interviews,.Formulated according to the results of the interviews targeted group guidance scheme,according to the survey,based on the principle of voluntary,selecting 20 low scores on the parent-child,random divided into equal Numbers of experimental group and control group,the experimental group to carry out for two months,a total of eight times group counseling activities,aims to examine the effect of group counseling to improve pupil parent-child relationship,control group without any intervention.In a word,the following conclusions can be drawed:(1)The level of parent-child relationship of primary school students is generally low:the results of the questionnaire survey show that there are three types of lowest scores,namely,the restless type,the expectant type and the drowning type;The interview results show that there are some problems between parents and children,such as poor communication,reduced affinity and lack of understanding;(2)The parent-child relationship of pupils is related to whether they are the only child,whether they are single parent families,and has nothing to do with gender;(3)Group counseling can effectively improve the condition of the parent-child relationship in primary school students;experiment had significant differences in Strict、Postive Deny 、Negative Deny and Contradiction,other dimensions didn’t change significantly.
