Shoushan stone sculpture art is a unique traditional folk art in Fuzhou,Fujian Province.It is also one of the national intangible cultural heritages.As the most unique carving technique in Shoushan stone sculpture art,surface carving has profound cultural connotation and historical heritage.Its diverse aesthetic forms and unique artistic character contain rich artistic value.It is an important art and cultural resource in Fuzhou.The reasonable development and excavation of surface carving in Shoushan stone sculpture and its integration with high school art education are conducive to cultivating high school students’ aesthetic spirit and innovative thinking,stimulating their interest in learning art,gradually generating the awareness of cherishing local culture in the process of learning surface carving,and effectively opening the vision of Shoushan stone sculpture art,Promote its better innovation and development.Taking Gushan middle school in Fuzhou as an example,this paper studies the application of surface carving in Shoushan stone sculpture in teaching senior high school art curriculum.The introduction mainly expounds the research background and origin of the paper,and analyzes the relevant research status.The text is mainly divided into five parts.The first part summarizes the origin and development of surface carving in Shoushan stone sculpture,focusing on the artistic and educational value of surface carving.The second part is based on the analysis of the research results and the elaboration of the theoretical and practical basis of the introduction of surface carving into the classroom,and carries out a feasibility study on the introduction of surface carving in Shoushan stone sculpture.The third part puts forward feasible teaching strategies and methods to promote the implementation of teaching by studying the application principles,practical objectives,teaching design and teaching evaluation of surface carving in Shoushan stone sculpture in senior high school art teaching.The fourth part is the key content of this paper.Based on the previous theoretical research,the author carries out teaching practice for senior one students in the school,and carries out case analysis according to the teaching process.The fifth part mainly introduces and reflects on the research results of the course,puts forward the problems and implementation suggestions in teaching,and summarizes them.It is hoped that through the application research of surface carving in high school art teaching,students’ artistic vision can be broadened,their sense of responsibility to protect traditional art culture can be established,and meaningful practical exploration can be provided for enriching the construction of campus culture and the development of characteristic art curriculum resources.
