As one of the important ways for the inheritance of human history and culture,art education plays its own role in the continuation and promotion of excellent traditional culture and the protection of our excellent regional art.The development and application of school-based curriculum resources is an important link with innovation and characteristics in middle school art teaching.The development of school-based curriculum is conducive to the implementation of the policy of "national,local and learning three-level curriculum management".Qianfoya Stone Carvings is located in Guangyuan City,the southwestern Silk Road and the ancient Jinniu Road.Due to its unique geographical location,it has gradually developed into the largest group of grottoes in Sichuan Province.Due to the long period of excavation of the thousand Buddha Cliffs,the decorative patterns of the caves,the patterns of the statues,the patterns of the crowns,and the patterns of the statues of the statues have also changed with the changes of history,becoming a unique regional art resource.The introduction of Qianfoya stone carving art resources into middle school art education and teaching is conducive to the growth of students’ professional knowledge,improvement of aesthetic ability,learning of hometown culture,training of students’ creative ability and cooperative inquiry ability.The author will organize and analyze the sculptures,patterns,historical origins,religious culture and other contents of Qianfoya stone inscriptions to form related art teaching resources,edit school-based textbooks for school-based curriculum,and teach practical courses and practical activities.To demonstrate the results of this course development,and finally to reflect and summarize the teaching,to accumulate experience for future school-based curriculum development.It is concluded that the introduction of Qianfo cliff stone carving art resources in the form of line drawing into the middle school art classroom not only helps students consolidate the art foundation,improve their ability of art painting and appreciation,but also helps to enhance their sense of identity and pride towards their hometown,and lays a good foundation for the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage.The school-based curriculum development has regional representation,which provides new methods and ideas for the development of school-based curriculum in the future.
