| As a course closely related to ecology,biology is an ideal carrier of ecological civilization education.To carry out ecological civilization education in junior middle school biology teaching,most of the relevant studies introduce the development ways,strategies and methods.However,there is little thinking and research on how to effectively use and excavate the materials of ecological civilization education to promote the implementation of ecological civilization education,which is a problem worthy of in-depth exploration.Based on this,the questionnaire survey method was used to pre-test the four aspects of ecological civilization common sense,consciousness,behavior and knowledge source of junior middle school students in Peng Yang county of Ningxia,in order to understand the teachers’ attitude towards ecological civilization education and materials.On this basis,fully excavate the materials related to ecological civilization education in the biology textbook of junior middle school published by Jiangsu Science and Technology Press,form corresponding teaching strategies and integrate them into the biology classroom teaching,in order to cultivate students’ ecological civilization knowledge,consciousness and behavior,and form the following results:(1)Through the investigation,it is found that the junior middle school students in the school have some problems,such as lack of ecological knowledge,weak awareness of ecological civilization,lack of initiative and enthusiasm in behavior,weak education in family and school,and teachers’ failure to take the initiative to deal with materials.(2)In view of the above problems and as a starting point,the ecological civilization education materials are excavated in the principles of being close to life,suitable for students’ development and integrating local characteristics.The education materials are divided into three categories: protecting vegetation,cherishing water resources and protecting species diversity.The materials are combed with chapters as modules.(3)The application strategies of ecological civilization education materials: first,use local ecological culture and construction achievements to create local characteristic ecological civilization education.The second is to strengthen students’ awareness of ecological civilization in combination with environmental and social hot issues;Third,deeply excavate the ecological civilization education materials in textbooks to improve lesson preparation and teaching quality;Fourth,carry out practical activities,set an example,and internalize students’ ecological civilization behavior with the power of an example.(4)After using the excavated ecological civilization teaching materials for teaching practice,the pre-test and post-test differences of students’ ecological civilization common sense,consciousness,behaviors and knowledge sources are analyzed.The results showed that there was significant difference between the pre-test and post-test(p<0.05).Students’ awareness of ecological civilization has been improved to a certain extent,and they begin to pay attention to and regulate their own behavior.Therefore,it is concluded that it is feasible to excavate and apply ecological civilization education materials in biology teaching,and it has a certain effect on students’ knowledge growth and consciousness cultivation.However,ecological civilization education is a long-term task,which requires long-term practice to see the effect.It is suggested that the school encourage teachers of all subjects to infiltrate ecological civilization education in classroom teaching,and the school can unite with the family and society to jointly cultivate students’ awareness of ecological civilization through practical activities. |
