| The continuous growth of industrialization and global population has brought great pressure to ecological environment protection,and ecological issues have received widespread attention in various fields.Since the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,the Party and government have always attached great importance to the construction of ecological civilization,and have always placed the construction of ecological civilization in the overall national strategy of China’s development.The discipline of biology is closely related to ecology and plays a crucial role in cultivating students’ ecological civilization literacy.This study focuses on middle school students and teachers in the Hanzhong region,using a questionnaire survey method to systematically analyze the current status of ecological civilization education in biology for middle school students,identify existing problems and influencing factors,and propose countermeasures;Further explore the materials related to ecological civilization in junior high school biology textbooks and design teaching cases.Design student questionnaires and teacher questionnaires respectively,and conduct questionnaire surveys on students and teachers from four junior high schools in the Hanzhong area.The results of the survey on the current status of ecological civilization are as follows:(1)The average accuracy rate of the survey on ecological civilization knowledge among junior high school students is 75.40%,reflecting the poor mastery of ecological civilization knowledge among students;According to the survey on students’ awareness of ecological civilization,over 85.00% of them choose to "agree",and some students need to improve their awareness of ecological civilization;More than 90.00% of students chose "agree" in the ecological behavior survey,indicating that their ecological behavior is good.The influencing factors of ecological civilization literacy among middle school students can be divided into three aspects: gender,grade,and geographical location of the school.According to survey data analysis,there is a significant difference in ecological awareness between male and female students(p<0.01),with female students having higher ecological civilization awareness than male students;There is a significant difference in ecological behavior between grades one and two in junior high school(p<0.01),with students in grade two having better ecological behavior than those in grade one;The different geographical locations of schools have no impact on students’ ecological civilization literacy.(2)Some schools and teachers need to pay more attention to ecological civilization education.In actual teaching,there are several problems: the teaching methods of teachers are single,the ecological civilization literacy of teachers themselves needs to be strengthened,the school organizes fewer ecological civilization related activities,and the school’s education evaluation and assessment system on ecological civilization needs to be improved.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey on the current status of ecological civilization education and reading relevant literature on ecological civilization,the following suggestions are proposed on how to integrate ecological civilization education into middle school biology.(1)At the school level,teachers can be provided with training opportunities and textbooks that combine local resources can be developed;(2)At the teacher level,teachers should strengthen their own ecological literacy,integrate classroom teaching with textbook content,strengthen practical activities of ecological civilization education,attach importance to emotional cultivation of ecological civilization,and broaden the scope of ecological civilization education;(3)At the social level,government departments will further develop and improve the ecological civilization education system.In addition,this study conducted an in-depth analysis of four junior high school biology textbooks,identifying 48 points of knowledge and integration of ecological civilization;And design two teaching cases that integrate ecological civilization education,including classroom teaching cases and practical activity teaching cases. |
