Research On The Key Competency Improvement Of College Counselors In The New Era

In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the requirements of the times to comprehensively improve the quality of independent training of talents,which provides an important opportunity for the ideological and political work of colleges and universities to adapt to the needs of educational modernization and strengthen their own team building.The team of college counselors is in a very important position in the ideological and political work of colleges and universities.It shoulders the important task of "cultivating newcomers of the era who will take on the great task of national rejuvenation".Cultivate quality.In 2017,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Educational System and Mechanism",which put forward the requirement to focus on cultivating key competencies that support lifelong development and adapt to the requirements of the times.Only by strengthening the cultivation of the key competencies of college counselors can the improvement of the key competencies of college students be effectively promoted.Therefore,the research on the key competency of college counselors is of great significance for broadening the research field of college counselors and improving the quality of college ideological and political work team construction.This research focuses on five aspects: the basic connotation,improvement significance,construction status,construction requirements and improvement strategies of college counselors’ key competencies.The introduction part mainly analyzes the background of the study,the significance of the study,the literature review of domestic and foreign research,and the research design of the study.The first chapter compares and analyzes the connotation of professional ability and key competency,and specifically puts forward the connotation of the key competency of college counselors,that is,the key competency of college counselors is a modern competency which refers to the fact that college counselors implement the fundamental task of cultivating people,follow the law of ideological and political work,focus on solving key problems of college students,and cultivate college students.It mainly includes four aspects: ideological and political leadership ability,ability to prevent major risks,ability to promote force coordination,and ability to innovate modern methods.The second chapter puts forward the significance of improving the key competencies of college counselors in the new era to improve the ideological and political work system,improve the quality of daily ideological and political education for college students,and promote the professionalization of college counselors.The third chapter is based on the interviews and investigations of actual work,and summarizes the current situation,characteristics,shortcomings and causes of the key competency building of college counselors.The fourth chapter specifically puts forward the requirements for the construction of key competencies of college counselors in the new era,that is,to clearly enhance the systematization,effectiveness,and sense of the times of the key competency construction of college counselors,and adhere to the combination of quality training and ability training,theoretical The basic principles of unification of training and practical training,coordination of comprehensive training and key training,organizational training and selfcultivation as promotion,and overall grasp of the main contents of the four aspects of ideological and political guidance,prevention of major risks,promotion of force coordination,and modern method innovation.The fifth chapter specifically puts forward the implementation strategies of the key competencies of college counselors in the new era from the aspects of strengthening theoretical guidance,improving system design,promoting training practice,and deepening evaluation and promotion.
