| The digital transformation of the global economy is intensifying,and digital technology is profoundly changing the way people think,live,produce and how they learn.Digital competency for all is increasingly a key indicator of international competitiveness and soft power.The digital era has created conditions for the digital transformation of education.As the main battlefield of talent training,colleges urgently need to cultivated high-level talents with digital competency for social and economic development and improve the ability of education to serve social and economic development.Some major countries and regions around the world regard enhancing the digital competency of their citizens as a strategic direction to seek new competitive advantages.They have issued strategic plans,carried out digital competency training for their citizens,and improved the level of human capital.The CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi,as the core made the strategic decision of building a network power and digital China,which gave birth to the exploration of cultivation digital competency in China’s education field.In recent years,the cultivation of college students’ digital competency has made a positive response to the development of national digital economy.It is an important stage for China on shifting gears and speeding up,improving the national digital competency puts forward a realistic demand for talent training in colleges.In order to meet the urgent need of the rapid development of economy and society in China,the cultivation of college students’ digital competency has become a significant issue in the cultivation of college students’ digital competency.The thesis is divided into five chapters.Chapter one describes the research background and analyzes the current research hotpots related to digital competency,and clarifies the significance of the research.The second chapter sorts out the existing researches and related theories,and constructs the specific forms of college students’ digital competency based on the Successful Intelligence Theory and the basis of clarifying the connotation of digital competency.To discuss the cultivation of college students’ digital competency in three different stages of the digital competency.The third chapter,according the DQ Global Standards Report 2019 and the specific connotation of college students’ digital competency,designs a questionnaire on the current situation of college students’ digital ability cultivation.After analyzing the current situation of college students’ digital competency,it is found that college students’ digital information analysis competency is weak,digital knowledge creation competency need to be improved,and digital technology practice competency needs to be strengthened.Based on the problems above,the fourth chapter of the thesis analyzes the specific strategies of The Open University to incest in students’ digital information analysis competency,digital knowledge creativity,digital technology practice competency.The fifth chapter proposes that a systematic strategy of cultivating college students’ digital competency should be formed,which is to implement the cultivation of digital information analysis competency through curriculum setting,improve the cultivation of digital knowledge creativity through teaching activities,and promote the cultivation of digital technology practice competency through technological input. |
