Research On The Role Of Longshan County Government In Touris

Tourism,as a sunrise industry and a smokeless industry,has been highly valued by all countries since its appearence.China’s modern tourism industry has been developed since the 1960 s,and it has been more than sixty years since then.Now the development of tourism in China has gradually formed a perfect system in big cities,but the development in remote areas in the interior is still in the growth stage.This year,with the rise of rural tourism fever,more and more governments in remote areas and in the interior cities pay attention to the development of tourism.According to China’s governmental hierarchy,as a local government with independent financial authority-county-level government-has an inescapable responsibility in leading and promoting tourism development.Although developed regions have mature experience,limited to economic,talent,foundation and other factors,poor mountainous areas can not copy the road of tourism development in developed regions.In the development of local tourism,county-level government should perform their own functions has been the focus of research at all levels of government and many scholars.This paper starts from the definition of county-level government,analyzes its functions and the role it plays in tourism development,and then discusses how county-level government should play its proper role in tourism of the region by examining the role played by specific county-level governments in tourism,the problems that exist currently and how county-level government should play its proper role in tourism in the region.Longshan County,Hunan Province,as an ordinary and typical county with a large development in the west,with natural scenery and obvious characteristics of tourism development,has developed its tourism industry in recent years by vigorously investing funds,increasing infrastructure construction and strengthening promotion efforts.However,as a typical government-lending tourism development model,it also has problems such as excessive government intervention,blind development,and serious resource destruction.Based on the analysis of the causes of the problems,this paper summarizes the role of the county government in tourism in terms of clarifying government functions,standardizing the system of state-owned enterprises,reducing government input,reducing government intervention,making development plans,protecting tourism resources,vigorously developing infrastructure construction,and being a good service provider to the tourism industry,so as to provide certain ideas for the development of a better and better tourism industry in Longshan County.To remote areas and in the interior cities on tourism development to provide some reference.
