Inheritance And Development:the New Era Path To Promote The Construction Of Rural Civilization

For the past few years,China has made remarkable achievements in economic construction,and the living standards of the residents in rural areas have been significantly improved.However,as socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,the main contradiction faces by Chinese society has evolved.The traditional "food-oriented" production model in rural areas has been unable to meet the villagers’ diverse demands for a better life,especially the demand for a rich spiritual and cultural life.So promoting the transformation of rural production through the construction of rural civilization,enriching and developing rural culture further,and meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of villagers are an important issue in present rural construction.In The 19th CPC National Congress Report,the general requirements for implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy were put forward.As one of the requirements,"rural civilization" has been invested with more profound connotation than before.On the one hand,it is a "soft reflection" of villagers’ cultural quality,political consciousness and scientific level.On the other hand,it is also the "hard reflection" of the development of rural cultural tourism,the industrial innovation and the ecological environment.Therefore,the rural civilization is an important part of the whole Rural Revitalization Strategy.It’s profound value connotation and various expressions decide that the construction of itself shouldn’t be one-sided or indiscriminate.We must grasp the characteristics of the transformation of rural civilization from a historical and systematic perspective,and grasp the main aspects of the construction of it in combination with present situations.To scientifically promote the construction of rural civilization,a correct understanding of Dialectical Materialism,and a clear understanding of the context of the development of it from the perspective of historical differences,are both required.So this paper studies the process of the vicissitude and reconstruction of the rural civilization,and explores the ways to promote the construction of it in the new period.From the perspective of Marxist historical materialism and the angel of historical differences,this paper digs out the historical functions and characteristics of China’s rural civilization from the historical context of "rise,fall and modeling”: the advanced productivity of agricultural society complements the prosperous rural civilization and step forward together.Functional transformation from the production end to the experience end,from single value to multiple value,economic transformation from single economy to compound economy.At last,in accordance with the features of the historical transformation of the rural civilization and the significant instructions carried out by the Part Central Committee on the local custom civilization,this paper put forward four important measures to push forward the development of rural civilization in the new era:firstly,strengthen the construction of the grass-root Party to build organizational protection for rural civilization.Secondly,consolidate the economic foundation and propel the development of rural cultural industry.Thirdly,solidify ideological basis and the position of the rural culture of socialism.
