| From the Qin Dynasty to the early Han Dynasty, the development of Chinese characters was at the most milestone stage of the Li Bian. The Chinese characters in this period were in the stage of the alternation of seal script and official script, which had the characteristics of both.Generally, the characters in this period were called the ancient official script. This paper takes the ancient scribe characters from the Qin to the early Han Dynasty as the research object, through the analysis of their configuration,to see the development and evolution of the ancient scribe characters. This paper extracts and arranges the ancient scribe characters in the unearthed silk texts from the Qin Dynasty to the early Han Dynasty, such as the Qin slips in Shui Hudi,Liye Qin Slips, silk manuscripts in the Han tomb of Mawangdui and Zhangjiashan Slips, and compares and analyzes them with the small seal characters included in Shuo Wen Jie Zi and the more mature official script of Han Dynasty in the later period. This paper analyzes and summarizes the configuration characteristics of the ancient scribe in the aspects of whole character, component and stroke. This paper is divided into the following parts:The first part is the introduction, mainly on the Qin and Han Dynasty ancient scribe characters of the research status is elaborated, and clarify the purpose of the study, the significance of the study, the text used and reference materials are briefly introduced, finally, the selection of the example character in this paper and the selection of the font in the font table are explained. The second part is the main text, which is divided into three chapters. The first chapter compares the ancient official script of Qin and Han Dynasties with the small seal characters of Shuo Wen Jie Zi and the official script of Han Dynasty from the level of whole characters, and describes the changes of their shape and structure on the level of whole characters. In terms of structure, the structure of the ancient official script in the Qin and Han dynasties was not stable, which was mainly manifested in the simplification and complexity of the structure of Chinese characters, the change of the arrangement and combination of characters and the change of parts. In the physical aspect, the differences between the ancient official script and the small seal script are mainly reflected in the changes in the writing of the lines, such as the twists, contractions and connections of the lines. In addition, there is a more obvious shape change in the ancient official script of the Qin and Han dynasties, that is,the appearance of some exaggerated strokes, such as excessive thickening or lengthening of the strokes, which is also a kind of destruction of the aesthetic feeling of Chinese characters. The second chapter describes the characteristics of the structure of the ancient official script from the aspect of component.First of all,we define the components studied in this paper. On this basis,we analyze the changes of characters in components from the Qin to the early Han Dynasty from two aspects: the mixing of components and the generation of new components. The mixing phenomenon of components mainly appears among radical components. There are two main reasons for this phenomenon. One is the similarity of form, the other is the relevance of meaning. The new components in the ancient official script were mainly produced through assimilation, differentiation and transformation among them. The third chapter analyzes the configuration characteristics of the ancient official script in the Qin and Han dynasties from the stroke level, mainly through the analysis of the development of the basic strokes of Chinese characters in this period such as point, horizontal, vertical, skimming, cutting, lifting, hook, fold and so on,reflecting the characteristics of the ancient official script in the stroke level is not mature. The third part is the conclusion, which mainly sorts out and summarizes the main content of this paper, and looks forward to the unfinished part of this paper. |
