In recent years,China’s comprehensive national strength is gradually increasing,and the dissemination of China’s national image is also of pivotal significance.The communication of national image is not only the research field of communication and international relations,but also an important subject of international communication of Chinese language.International Chinese textbooks are not only an important tool for Chinese learners to learn Chinese and understand China,but also an important way to shape and spread the national image of China.The presentation of Chinese characters in the textbooks is of great significance to the construction of the national image of China,and the Chinese female characters in the textbooks have their unique social and family backgrounds.It makes the study of Chinese female characters in textbooks especially meaningful.Therefore,in this study,the author will focus on the Chinese female characters in two cutting-edge multimedia textbooks of Great Wall Chinese and Global Chinese.This paper will first sort out and summarize the dialogue content of all characters in the textbooks.Then,the main Chinese female characters studied in this paper are extracted according to several screening principles,such as the number of appearances,whether they are related to the core story content,and whether the main characters are distinct.Then,starting from the perspective of "self-shaping" and "other-shaping",this paper analyzes and compares the similarities and differences of Chinese female characters in the two textbooks in terms of identity information,shape design,character characteristics,ideas and presentation methods,summarizes the advantages and limitations of the two textbooks in shaping Chinese female characters,and finally puts forward suggestions for the optimization of Chinese female character image design in Chinese textbooks.The full text includes five parts: the first part is the introduction,which introduces the reason of the topic selection,the research significance,the definition of related concepts,the previous research,the introduction of the teaching materials and methods of this research.The second part is to sort out the characters in the two sets of textbooks and extract the main Chinese female characters in the textbooks.The third part,from the perspective of "self-plastic" and "other-plastic",analyzes the identity information and characters of Chinese female characters in the two textbooks. |
