The teaching of cultural factors in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has become a hot spot of cultural studies in recent years, its role and status in teaching has also been widely recognized. But the research teaching most cultural factors mainly in the study of culture itself, the study on the cultural factors on foreign language teaching and research in the concrete teaching practice and cultural factors also does not see more.<Great Wall Chinese> is the operation of key project of Chinese Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters,which planned,organized, researched and developed it. It’s a new foreign language teaching mode based on multimedia technology development network. As a kind of new Chinese textbooks,<Great Wall Chinese> is not only in the Chinese textbooks,compared to traditional textbooks,it’s more concise,with more breakthrough lies in, it can make use of multimedia assisted teaching, to achieve comprehensive utilization of a variety of teaching methods, the complete set of materials into a complete context of the whole Chinese culture. And for the <Great Wall Chinese>in Chinese research is focused on teaching practice, not that much research on the cultural factors. In view of this, this paper is intended to <Great Wall Chinese> textbook as the research sample, to investigate and analyze the cultural factor, draw the statistical results about the cultural factors based on a quantitative analysis, to determine the selection of meaning, cultural factors in the teaching arrangement, teaching emphasis and the implications.By finishing the six textbooks’culture factors, we can see the material is evident in the culture has the characteristics of the layout. The editing of teaching material, mainly embodies the contemporary Chinese spirit, the cultural factors have the characteristics of the times, the basic no outdated cultural point. For teaching and cultural factors, the cultural words and expressions not only, but also embodies the mainstream culture in contemporary china. In the aspect of focus selection principle, culture teaching reflects the moderate, combine traditional and modern, cultural factors and language knowledge and the combination of three aspects.So, for the practical teaching, should also have the corresponding strategy and has led to the development of teaching materials and curriculum of the enlightenment. Also,"the Great Wall" is the biggest characteristic of Chinese in the multimedia auxiliary means, and this method also applies to culture teaching, using a variety of functions of multimedia, the teaching Chinese as a foreign language has become more creative and innovative.
