A very important part of the international Chinese pedagogical practices is Teaching materials,and high-quality international Chinese textbooks can integrate teaching methods into Chinese teaching activities in a more accurate and flexible way,to achieve a better teaching effect.At the same time,high-quality Chinese teaching materials can also reduce the difficulty and workload of Chinese teachers’ lesson preparation to a certain extent.With the development of network technology,the academic circle is also studying the digitization of textbooks,hoping to overcome the limitations of traditional textbooks,and has published some relatively high-quality Chinese digital textbooks,such as The Great Wall Chinese Series and The Seven Color Dragon.Therefore,this paper will introduce the comparative research of digital Chinese textbooks Everyday Chinese of Authentic Language and the Great Wall Chinese of Essentials Communication from the perspective of overall design and resources,to analyze and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese digital textbooks,and to analyze whether they have solved the most important problems in the current Chinese textbooks and have broken through the limitations of traditional textbooks.Hope these can provide reference suggestions for the development and construction of better-quality Chinese digital textbooks,and enrich the Chinese curriculum resources.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first is the introduction,mainly discusses the background,significance and research status of the research;The second part summarizes the current research on digital teaching materials in the academic circle,including concepts,characteristics,and summarize the similarities and differences and advantages by comparison traditional and digital textbooks,and briefly overview of the Interactive Teaching Theory and Multimodal Theory;The third part is to investigate the structure design,including use mode,function and resources of the two teaching materials,then mainly from the comparative analysis of the interactive perspective;The fourth part,starting from the perspective of multimodal resources,the resources of the two textbooks were examined,Then respectively from the perspective of resource mode type,interaction and other comparative analysis;Finally,the combing and summary of the comparison results,point out the advantages and disadvantages of both,and put forward reference suggestions on the construction of Chinese teaching materials.
