Throughout history,moral education has always held a pivotal position in the field of education.As is well known,the primary school stage is a critical period for the formation of a person’s intelligence,personality,and behavioral habits,so it is essential to permeate moral education during this stage.At the same time,English is a subject that combines instrumental and humanistic aspects.Modern research has shown that the English subject has a unique advantage in moral education,so integrating moral education into primary school English classroom teaching is a win-win situation.However,there are still many problems in the actual teaching process of primary school English classrooms.This study stands on the shoulders of predecessors and takes all English teachers in the author’s school as the research subjects.Various methods such as questionnaire survey,classroom observation,and text analysis are used to conduct investigation and research.The aim is to discover the existing problems of moral education infiltration in primary school English classroom teaching through investigation and further analyze the reasons for them,attempting to propose corresponding solutions from the perspective of educational management,Provide a certain reference for the infiltration of moral education in primary school English classroom teaching.According to the "English Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education,it is the responsibility of every primary school English teacher to incorporate moral education into English subject teaching.Primary school English teachers should fully explore the moral education elements in textbooks before class,and invisibly infiltrate moral education in classroom teaching.This is not only of great significance for the moral cultivation of primary school students,but also can promote English teaching to a certain extent.Specifically,this article is mainly divided into the following parts:The first part is an introduction,mainly introducing the research background and significance,research methods and ideas.The second part starts from two aspects: the superiority of moral education infiltration in English teaching and the content of moral education infiltration in English teaching.That is to answer the question of why moral education should be permeated in English classroom teaching and what moral education content should be permeated.In the third part,through questionnaire surveys and classroom observations,it was found that there are problems with the infiltration of moral education in primary school English classroom teaching: primary school English teachers generally do not express moral education goals clearly enough and do not implement them effectively;The content of moral education infiltration is divorced from practical life;The process of moral education infiltration focuses on indoctrination;The methods of moral education infiltration are monotonous and monotonous;Insufficient emotional involvement in classroom moral education.The fourth part is an attribution analysis based on the above issues,and the conclusion can be summarized as follows: teachers have weak moral education awareness;Teachers cannot grasp the moral education content in textbooks correctly;The infiltration of moral education has not broken free from the constraints of exam oriented education;Teachers lack effective moral education methods in teaching;Primary school English teachers lack emotional literacy.The fifth part proposes effective measures for moral education infiltration in primary school English classroom teaching,with the main body as follows:strengthening moral education concepts and establishing scientific awareness of moral education infiltration;Strengthening the infiltration of moral education and teaching innovation in primary school English classrooms;Promote the reform of quality education;Combining the characteristics of English teaching,utilizing rich and diverse methods of moral education infiltration;Strengthen the cultivation of emotional literacy for primary school English teachers. |
