The compilation of the New Curriculum Standard is guided by the spirit of the 18 th and 19 th national congresses of the communist party of China.The new curriculum reform is guided by China's socialist core values.The New Curriculum Standard points out that English teaching in senior high school should guide students to form a correct world values and life values.It aims to cultivate students with good political quality,moral quality and sound personality.It is the fundamental task to infiltrate the China's socialist core values in English teaching of senior high school.On the basis of compulsory education,it will further promote students' core qualities in English.It will also aim to cultivate socialist builders and successors with Chinese feelings and international vision.Based on the requirements of “cultivating and practicing China's socialist core values”,this study explores the current situation of moral education infiltration in English teaching in high schools in Wanzhou District.This research focuses on solving the following three issues: What is the current situation of moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school in Wanzhou District? What are the causes of the current situation of moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school in Wanzhou District? What are the countermeasures for moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school in Wanzhou District?The author uses questionnaire,interview,observation and etc.to solve the above questions.In terms of theory,firstly,this paper studies the necessity and feasibility of moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school.Secondly,the author studies the contents and goals of moral education in English teaching in senior high school.Finally,this paper tries to dig into the moral materials of the core socialist values in the 2007 edition of senior school English textbooks.In practice,490 high school students and 46 English teachers in senior high schools from 5 middle schools in Wanzhou District were selected for investigation and research,and 35 of them were interviewed.In terms of students,the survey was conducted from two aspects:(1)Students' cognition of moral education in English learning in senior high schools.(2)Students' learning effect in moral education in English learning in senior high school.In terms of teachers,the survey was conducted from the following two aspects :(1)The English teachers' concept of moral education infiltration teaching in senior high schools.(2)The approach and external support of moral education infiltration in English teaching.This research adopted qualitative and quantitative to analyze the survey results.The survey results showed that the current situation of moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school in Wanzhou district was closely related to the factors of teachers,schools,education administration departments and students.The problems in the moral education infiltration in English teaching in high schools in Wanzhou district mainly involved the following aspects:(1)In terms of English teachers in senior high schools,firstly,the moral education of English teachers in senior high schools were not integrated with socialist core values.Secondly,it was difficult for English teachers in senior high schools to dig out moral materials in English textbook in senior high school.(2)In terms of students,senior high school students were utilitarian in their English study and were shortage of moral education infiltration.(3)In terms of schools and education administration departments,the moral education in schools and education administration departments were not fully implemented.By analyzing and discussing the moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school in Wanzhou district,this study put forward some Suggestions and measures.First of all,as for the English teachers in senior high schools:(1)Teachers should be encouraged to design the teaching plans reasonably.(2)Teachers should improve their ability of moral education infiltration in English teaching.(3)Teachers should optimize their teaching concepts and enrich teaching methods in moral education.Secondly,as for the education administration department: We called on the education department in Wanzhou District to vigorously develop moral education resources and strengthen the supervision on moral education in English teaching in senior high schools.In addition,as for the students: we should guide senior high school students to change their own learning concept and learning evaluation in the English learning.Finally,the teaching effect of moral education in English teaching in senior high schools attributes to its effectiveness.This paper discussed how to enhance the effectiveness of moral education in English teaching in senior high school.We drawn up the evaluation form of moral education infiltration in English teaching in senior high school.In the evaluation form,it takes teachers,parents,classmates and students themselves as evaluators to evaluate the students' moral learning effects.It aims to promote the Students' learning effect of moral education in English teaching in senior high schools.It also aims to improve the moral education teaching ability of English teachers in senior high schools.
