Nowadays,elementary Chinese comprehensive course is the most important course type in international Chinese education.It integrates language elements,language skills and cultural knowledge,and aims to cultivate learners’ ability to use language comprehensively for communication.As an extension of Communicative Approach,TBLT is student-centered and advocates learners to master the target language in the process of completing tasks,so as to achieve the teaching goal of “learning by doing”,which breaks the traditional teacher-centered.Based on its unique teaching concept,the author tries to apply TBLT to the teaching of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses,taking Lesson 3 Where did you buy your pencil case from I Love Chinese Thai Primary School Chinese Textbook 6 as an example,jointly published by China Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and Thailand Shunjing Chinese Center.Combining with my own teaching practice in Thailand,I carry out specific teaching design,in order to provide real and specific reference cases for the teaching of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses in Thailand.This article is divided into four chapters as follows:Chapter 1 is the introductory part of the thesis,which focuses on the background of the prosperous development of Chinese language education in Thailand,this paper hopes to provide a reference for the research on the application of TBLT in integrated Chinese comprehensive courses in Thailand,and briefly reviews the current situation of domestic and international research on task-based teaching method,the current situation of domestic and international research on teaching elementary Chinese comprehensive course and the application of task-based teaching method in teaching elementary Chinese comprehensive course,while I choose questionnaire,literature research and observation methods as research methods for the content of the study.Chapter 2 is the theoretical research part,including the definition and theoretical basis of TBLT,combined with the teaching design of this article,discusses the comprehensive course’s teaching principles of authenticity,subjectivity and actionability under the guidance of TBLT,and analyzed the feasibility of applying TBLT to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course,which provides theoretical support for the following teaching.Chapter 3 is the teaching design.Firstly,the teaching environment,teaching objects,teaching materials and class types are analyzed in detail in combination with the actual situation.Then,taking Where did you buy your pencil case as an example,I launched a specific teaching design and put it into practice.Chapter 4 provides a pedagogical evaluation and reflection on this teaching design.Based on the results of classroom observations and questionnaires,it analyses the areas for improvement in the teaching design and proposes corresponding improvement measures.
