With the rapid development of technology and the changes of the times,Chinese language teaching has gradually made the cultivation of students’ communicative competence a priority,and the scaffolding approach has also been taken seriously.The scaffolding approach places emphasis on the learner’s main role in classroom learning.Through the teacher’s analysis of the student’s current learning level and the level of their nearest development zone,the teacher establishes appropriate scaffolding for the students and encourages them to explore independently and learn collaboratively in order to achieve the teaching objectives.Compared to traditional teaching methods,the scaffolding approach focuses more on developing students’ language skills and communicative competence in Chinese.This article focuses on the practical application of the scaffolding method in the teaching of online elementary Chinese integrated classes.Through the analysis of the teaching objects,teaching materials,teaching methods and other relevant factors,based on constructivist theory,the theory of the nearest developmental zone and cognitive development theory,and using two Chinese-American children as the teaching objects,the application of the scaffolding teaching method in the teaching of elementary Chinese integrated class is explored,and the specific teaching steps are shown,and conclusions and reflections on the teaching are drawn.It is expected to explore some new possibilities and provoke some new thoughts for the use of the scaffolding teaching method in teaching integrated primary Chinese classes.The paper is divided into five sections,each with the following details:Chapter 1 is the introductory section.The first chapter is the introduction,which explains the origin of the topic and the significance of the research;analyses the current situation of research on teaching design,scaffolded pedagogy and integrated Chinese language classes;and determines the research method.Chapter 2 is an analysis of the suitability of scaffolded pedagogy for elementary integrated Chinese classes.The first chapter is an overview of scaffolding pedagogy.The concept,theoretical basis,type analysis and teaching steps of the scaffolded teaching method are introduced.Secondly,it is an analysis of the feasibility of the scaffolded teaching method applied to elementary integrated Chinese language classes.Chapter 3 is an analysis of the front-end of the instructional design.The specific content contains an analysis of the relevant factors of teaching design,teaching environment,teaching objects,teaching materials and lesson types;followed by an analysis of teaching principles.Chapter 4 is the teaching design plan,firstly,the overall design of the lesson,with details of the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching priorities,teaching methods,teaching media and lesson time arrangement;secondly,the teaching process.Chapter 5 is devoted to assessment and reflection,which includes: assessment,reflection and suggestions. |
