Since the 21st century,the rapid development of social and economic development has brought about a constant iteration of information technology,and this rapid change is particularly evident in the work of education and teaching.With the gradual advancement of information technology innovation in education and new curriculum reform,another new concept has gradually come to the forefront of teachers’ minds: the micro-lecture.With its short,precise,rich connotations,varied forms,and wide dissemination,micro-lectures have taken their place on the stage of education and teaching.At present,however,most of the practice researches on micro-lectures is conducted at the junior and senior secondary levels.The content of micro class applied in high school is mainly science experimental content.The content of micro lessons applied in junior high school is slightly richer,including classical Chinese teaching,English vocabulary teaching,writing teaching,etc.However,most of the researches on the application of micro-lessons in primary school remain at the level of investigation and understanding of the application status,and the research on how this teaching method can be more effectively applied in primary school English classes is still slightly insufficient.This thesis conducts a practice research on micro-class teaching in primary school English class,hoping to form a micro-class teaching model that is not only conducive to teachers’ teaching,but also conducive to students’ learning.In order to further improve the teaching efficiency of teachers,enhance students’ strong interest in English courses,and then cultivate their independent learning ability.In this study,in order to make the micro teaching practice more effectively and more targeted,firstly to make an application situation investigation in a primary school in Dalian,find out current situation of the micro teaching in the primary school English class,and the problems in the analysis of the cause,thus in the following to avoid the above problems in he teaching practice,to improve the effectiveness of the micro teaching practice.This teaching practice brings the specific micro-class teaching cases into the real primary school English classes.In order to prove the feasibility,necessity and effectiveness of micro-lessons in primary school English classes teaching,teaching practice should be carried out in accordance with the teaching links of pre-class preview,new teaching in class and review after class.In the pre-class preview,the teacher makes a self-directed learning task list,and the students watch the micro-class and learn independently according to the questions in the task list.In the new teaching link,teachers reasonably and effectively use micro lessons to teach knowledge points in the links such as introduction,new teaching and practice,so as to grasp students’ interest in learning and improve teaching effect and efficiency.After class,according to the concept of "large unit teaching",the teacher comprehensively reviewed the present tense and the present continuous tense,designed,analyzed and summarized a series of knowledge points,and helped students deepen their understanding of the two grammatical tenses,and improved their application ability in specific test exercises.After the classroom teaching practice,effective comparison and test were carried out,focusing on the analysis and evaluation of students’ acceptance of micro-class,the change of students’ interest in learning English and their academic performance.Based on students’ and teachers’ evaluations of the use of micro-lectures,we analyze the effectiveness of micro-lectures in the primary English classes,summaries the problems that exist in practice,and make recommendations for more rational and effective use of micro-lectures in the primary English classes.Micro-lecture,as a novel educational teaching method that can attract and maintain students’ attention,is conducive to both contextualized teaching and the development of students’ language application skills.The efficient application of micro-class not only requires teachers to change their educational concepts,improve themselves and strengthen the means of education and teaching,but also requires schools to strengthen the training of information technology for teachers and pay attention to the cultivation of scientific research technology for teachers.It is believed that with the further innovation and development of modern education and teaching methods,various forms of micro-lessons will be more effective in promoting teaching and learning,and the application and practice of micro-lessons in primary school English classes will also step into another brand new stage.
